Of all the state capitols I’ve been to, this one is certainly the best by time spent and things to see. Georgia has had a very long and storied history, and I say regardless of modern day politics and virtues, they have done a good job of preserving icons and memorials and monuments from the past, unlike for example my home state of Virginia. It took them a while, but indeed having a son as remarkable as Dr. King, Jr., Georgia has helped to modernize whilst still respecting its past- it isn’t like Georgia had many reasons to reconcile with the North after what it and Sherman did to it. The grounds are extremely well-manicured (as a horticulturist myself), and the inside has many relics and such from Georgia’s natural and anthropological history as well. Well-worth a visit, pity about the riot fence, but just walk around it. Cheers.

Officer Frazier needs to find a new job. It’s a shame how bad he interacts with people and how patronizing he is. How can Georgia have someone like that being the first person you see when visiting the capitol.

Public. It is part of state government. Some areas are restricted. You have to pass through security to get in.
Miss freedom. Christened as the goddess of Liberty. She's been on top of the Capitol since 1889.
It would be advisable to call the Capital security office to notify them of any such activity... out of respect, if nothing else. My mother always said,"It's better to ask permission, than to beg forgiveness."
There are docents that run tours often for students. I don't know how to schedule but if you walk in the main entrance, you can ask at the desk. Saw a tour this past week.
It says for me to claim the the building , I'm not the holder for that I wasn't born there , it says another country means to claim the Senate building , are you having trouble with the noble family or the prince family playing who's franco-american ? They should have never went to Flint Michigan
