This is the New Jersey Transit station located near the Galleria Crystal Run Mall on Healey Lane across from Lowes Home Improvement. It is also a Metro-North line for stops in New York however this train does not connect to Grand Central Station in New York City. Instead, you can arrive at New York Penn Station on 8th Ave in NYC with one transfer. It makes stops between Port Jervis, NY to Hoboken, NJ. To get to NYC: 1) Take a Hoboken bound train to Secaucus Junction. 2) Transfer at Secaucus Junction to any outbound New York Penn Station train which is one stop away. You will need your ticket (printed or mobile) to transfer. 3) Make sure you get on a New York City bound train - usually you can follow the crowd. It usually takes a little over 2 hours to get to New York Penn Station but there can be delays and cancellations. Fares range in price: $19.50 One Way Adult to Penn Station. You can buy tickets using the NJT app; make sure to keep your phone charged as you’ll need to scan the barcode and pass through a gate then follow signs for NYC. If you’re not sure, always ask the conductors before you board the train. You don’t have to wear masks but you can. Sometimes there are AC Outlets near the doors or under the seats but they’re not always operational so I recommend external battery. There’s usually two bathrooms on the train in the first and last car which are also the Quiet Cars from 6am-8pm. Parking is free on weekends and holidays. Weekdays cost $1.25 for 16 hours or $2.25 for 24 hours which you can do through the Passport Parking app on your phone. Just make sure you park in the blue metered parking and not the green permit parking. Then log into the app, add a method of payment, input 9538 for the zone and then whichever three digit parking spot you chose to pay.

Middletown Metro North train station is a quieter station. It's close to a lot of stores and restaurants including the Galleria Mall. So there are things within walking distance. This station is on the Port Jervis line, also known as the Southern Tier Norfolk Southern line. It is designated a high/wide route for freight trains, so the stations on this line are low platform design. Although most stations on this line, including Middletown have a handicap access to board trains. So the station is a fully handicap station. The trains are operated by NJ Transit. So these commuter trains run from Port Jervis, into New Jersey. NYC can be accessed by transferring at either the Secaucus Junction Station or Hoboken Terminal. But it is not a one seat ride like the Metro North trains on the east side of the Hudson River. Parking is reasonable, although with so few vehicles parked at the station normally, I do not understand why they charge for parking. Maybe it's all about how many ways to charge people? They're will be no taxi's waiting or public transportation of any kind. Although you can call a taxi. So plan ahead and maybe call first to make sure the taxi's are running when you need them. There is also no restrooms that I know of close to the station on the station, other than walking to Lowes and Sam's club close by. Just other things to think about. So although there are a few possible set backs depending on your particular situation. You normally do not have to park far from the platform, or have lines to leave on arriving trains.Plus in my experience the train ride is much better on the port Jervis line than the other Metro North lines. It also has some great views, like Crossing the Moodna Viaduct just east of Campbell hall station. Hope this helps answer some of your questions. Enjoy the ride.

I will give it 5 stars when the entire platform gets upgraded by removing the old public telephone, updating / increasing the size of the waiting room, providing more protection from the weather over/around vending machines, adding live train schedule departure/arrival boards, etc.

On time, courteous and efficient. Clean enough

From New York Penn Station, you'll have to take the train to Secaucus Junction and then transfer to the lower level platform.
What time is the next going to Penn station
No
298 N Galleria Dr, Middletown, NY 10941
It's on Healey Road, near the Galleria shopping center. The entrance is across from Lowes Home Improvement and Sam's Club.
There is a timetable on NJ Transit website that shows when the train leaves each station on its route.
It depends on where you're going. You can look the prices (and times) up here https://www.njtransit.com/train-to. On mobile the price is on the side, you have to scroll. And this isn't a station, it's just a platform. You can buy a ticket here. There are kiosks where you can buy your ticket using cash or card. If you are transferring you can enter the other station and buy the tickets for your whole ride so you dont have to later. Hope this helps!

It is an outdoor station with a small shelter and a few ticket machines. It is in an offshoot parking lot on North Galleria Drive at the intersection with Lowes Home Improvement. There are no bathrooms or food vending machines there, and I am not sure if there is a working pay phone.
Yes. It must be in a carrier
Yes it goes to the PATH train in Hoboken and it is located off of North Galleria Drive the entrance to the mall
Depends on if you are going by bus or train or by car. I am not sure of the rates but I'm sure you could google the method of transportation for the rate.
