Calhoun's in Turkey Creek

Went there for dinner. Calhoun’s used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the last several times I’ve been it has been mediocre at best. This time I ordered the “Big Pig” burger/sandwich. I’ve never had it before but wanted to give it a try. The burger was overcooked, tough, and dry. The pulled pork on top was really good and was the redeeming part of the burger. I got fries as my side and they were room temperature. Overall it was a really disappointing birthday dinner. The high note was our server, she went above and beyond to take care of us. Best server I’ve had in awhile. I’m not saying I’ll never be back because I’m sure I will, but sadly it won’t be one of my top choices anymore. I miss the Calhoun’s from years ago.

Nothing special... Dry BBQ pork plate ,overly salted and dry baked potato. BBQ sauce was nice but too sweet , ordered mixed drinks and they were about the only decent thing we ordered . The server was friendly ,polite and knew what she was doing

The food was outstanding!!! The service from Amy was outstanding too. My eyes rolled back in my head in delight upon taking the first bite of the chicken bacon sandwich/ burger. With garlic peppercorn sauce YUM. Got the green beans with thyme and garlic, delicious. Will definitely be back!

The server was sweet... food was not good. Fries burnt and wings very dry with little meat.
