Another hit, some of the best food comes from small businesses. This little place was across the street from where we stopped to get fuel, so of course we had to try it. I called first and spoke to a very friendly man and asked if they had ribs. He said yes and across the street we went. We got a rib plate and smoked chicken breast plate with baked beans and potato salad plus some fresh cut fries. While we were waiting on our food another man was eating with his family and I noticed he was eating his ribs with a fork, which I quickly found out is the best way to eat them when they are smoked to perfection and have separated from the bone. So guess what? I ate mine with a fork too. Everything was delicious and more than enough food. I can tell the owner of this business enjoys what he does and I appreciate that. I definitely recommend Smokin Butts BBQ to anyone traveling through. When I get back home I’m going to have to fast, but I’m enjoying it now😋yes we love to eat😂

You NEED to stop here. I could not be happier with our decision to grab some barbecue on our road trip. In the location of a shut down fireworks place up the gravel hill past the truck rest stop. When you get out of the car you'll be embraced with the smell of smoked meat. I got the 3 rib dinner and my fiance got the pulled pork sandwich. Every ounce of our meat was tender and JUICY. Ribs are fall off the bone amazing. The homemade BBQ has a great tang, flavor, and perfect spice (I have a high spice tolerance, if you are sensitive to spice, use less!!). The baked beans are not your traditional sugar soup. These have that same great flavor that the BBQ Sauce has. Pulled pork sandwich had SO much flavor we only dripped a small amount of sauce on it. I wish I could give this place 10 stars, I've reviewed 100s of places. This...easy top 5. Can I go back now?

My husband and I stopped there today,my son n law swears by this place and said we had to stop in and try it.We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and potato salad.Both were delicious, the pulled pork has that hint of smoke taste I like and I am very picky about my sauce I like on my pork,this was perfect, and the guy was so nice,you have to stop by and give this place a try if you haven't. We will diffently be back on our next trip in town.

Ordered pulled pork with baked bean and potato salad. Also had the 3 bone ribs and they were falling off the bone. Has an amazing smoke flavor and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back and visit.
