Such a great place. You can go in and volunteer to walk dogs.

Staff is all incredibly sweet and clearly cares deeply for the pets they are caring for. Highly recommend anyone in the area goes and walks a dog there or even adopts from them. Happy to have been able to stop in and walk a dog!

They took excellent care of our sweet baby kitty.

Yes. Look for the spay/neuter clinic days to get the best price.
They have mostly pitbull mix and German mix
Yes. They are always looking for volunteers to love the animals
They are definitely a no kill shelter and I don't not believe there is a fee for surrending a pet
Yes
They have Rabies clinics
$150 is the adoption fee for most dogs. There is a discount for older dogs.
From my understanding they don't just kill animals due to overpopulation or things like that. They do euthanize sick or unadoptable animals. We rescued our pit bull from them and she's been the best dog we've ever had. The facility is very clean and the animals are taken very good care of. You can tell it's a caring staff... Not to mention all the volunteers that come in everyday to walk the dogs, etc. I highly recommend adopting from them if you find an animal you love. The way I see it, you aren't saving a shelter... You're saving an animal. That's the most important part! Good luck finding your new family member!
No. They will try and help you find another home for the cats as well. All else fails, they will take them
You'd have to call for a quote. It's a low-cost clinic, so it's usually significantly cheaper than most vets, but for specific cost there are variables like age of dogs, if and what sort of pre-op blood work is needed, etc. They do have some programs as well that can assist even further with cost to certain situations, so please give them a call!
Donna, you will need to call them and make an appointment for their next spay/neuter clinic. They will give you all information then.
The minor costs of adoption through the Humane Society mainly cover vet bills and immunizations, which you would have to pay anyway.
You can do it online, in person at the facility, or I am pretty sure over the phone
It would be nice if he had. Other to play with
Please check the website
There are adoption fees that vary depending on the age of the animal.
I don't know. Hope not.
I'm not sure if they do but Holloway funeral home does them. Hope this helps.
Rabies is $25... not sure about spay or neutering... give them a call, they are very nice and will answer any questions!
Every animal is spayed or neutered
I don't know about Maryland, but in Virginia if you feed feral cats or stray animals for three days, you have legally assumed responsibility for them and they are yours. As I said, I don't know about Maryland.
I dn't knw just call them an they will answer that question for you.
Everything was done , once you take it home, then you have to take it to your vet for follow ups
You can go to the human societies website for information about adopting. The link is here: https://www.wicomicohumane.org/
Just call them. I think they probably would, I know they take small animals like rabbits. I think I've even seen an occasional reptile up for adoption.
It depends on the age
Usually about 80-90 dollars but sometimes they reduce the cost. I adopted one in June and it only cost me $65. You can call and ask if they are running any specials.
Yes they do and the also do I think 2 times a they have events and free micro chipping. I did it with.my dog
I don't know. All I know is they wouldn't let us adopt a dog. So we got one from a friend.
I believe They can find boarders for them. Please contact them for more info
No. If you're going to adopt they ask that you keep them for a minimum of six weeks to adjust.
There is an application at the office or on their website for the free spay/neuter program.
I think most of the vets have a payment plan if you can get approved (usually a credit check is involved). I would call some vet offices and let them know of your situation and see what they can do.
Yes you can! They have a nice, safe area to walk dogs.
Yes you can. They will try and get you to be a foster parent till owners show up or it's adopted
As a customer I can't answer that. I would call them to find out.
No parakeets, only cats and dogs.
