Bealeton library is conveniently located in mid-Fauquier county. It's very neat and clean. Masks are requested still. The internet connection is strong and it's got...well...lots of books and videos to rent. Great place to visit.

Great staff!, Very helpful. Very pleasant and professional. Reminiscent of the ole country library's of the 1960's....With a bit of a technological flair!

Hi - Effective Saturday, June 5, The Friends of the Fauquier Library will accept book donations on Saturdays at the John Barton Payne Bldg, 2nd floor (use rear entrance). Donations will be accepted from 10 am - Noon only. Not sure what is accepted? Check out the guidelines here: http://ow.ly/Argq50F39xK
Hi Vicky - Yes, all Fauquier Public Library branches have been open to the public for since March. For the current operating guidelines, see https://fauquierlibrary.org/2021/03/09/press-release-update-on-library-covid-19-operations-2/. Make sure to bookmark our website (fauquierlibrary.org), as operations/guidelines may change as County policies, etc., are amended.
Hi - Our WiFi does extend out into the parking lot if you need to talk at a normal volume while being connected to the Internet. Unfortunately our private study room is currently unavailable. If you need to be inside of the library (WiFi and public computers are available), you will want to sit in a quiet area away from other patrons and speak quietly, of course. You may always speak to staff and let them know what your needs are and they can suggest the best place to sit, etc.
Hi Patricia - While the Friends of the Library Book Cellar remains closed, book donations are currently suspended. We will update https://fauquierlibrary.org/support-the-library/ and of course the Friends Book Cellar Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TheBookCellar2) when book donation restrictions are lifted. We appreciate you thinking of us!
Hi - Yes, all Fauquier Public Library branches offer free WiFi, which is available outside the buildings (your mileage may vary depending on how far away you are parked or seated, weather permitting). It is available even when the library is closed to the public. It is password-protected, but signs are posted on the outside with the password (changes on a regular basis). If you need to speak with staff at the Bealeton branch (when we are open), call 540-422-8500 and press option 2.
Hi Leo - It would be best if you could call the library directly at 540.422.8500 and ask to speak with a reference librarian. We can help you figure out when and where you Math (?) ACT test is scheduled. ~Fauquier County Public Library
I don't believe they are open today. Unless I am wrong, I think they resume regular hours tomorrow, Saturday 11/24/2017. Normal operating hours are Monday through Wednesday 12 -8, Thursday - Saturday 10 - 5, Sunday 1-5
