Great room and beds. Marie at check in was absolutely incredible and as a fellow foodie she gave us great food advice. Location was minutes away from all the beaches. This is our base camp for all visits.

Having lived nearby I know this to be a relatively new building and expected better. When we pulled the covers back our first night my side of the bed was full of sand. Sand. How does a freshly changed bed get that way. When I shared it with the woman on the desk the next morning she said she'd have the bed changed but showed little concern. I guess I thought she'd be at least a little appalled. The shower had 2 conditioners and no shampoo. A small thing but it speaks to poor management. Finally, the wallpaper in the lobby is already peeling. And the building is only a few years old. I stay regularly at a much older place in Pembroke, and it shows the years here and there, but they really take care of the property. This was disappointing.

I can't speak on the stay, but customer service-wise - this hotel gets a poor rating from me. I made reservations for an incorrect date and simply needed to change it to the day before. They would. not. budge. I didn't ask for state rate or any other special rates, just wanted to change my dates as soon as I realized the error - I have confidence the room will not go to waste, meaning they were not going to lose out on anything by changing my reservation date. I would have been ok with a minor cancellation fee/change fee/what have you, but NOTHING. I do hope my colleague has a pleasant stay.

This hotel is So Run Down and dirty, it was disturbing to stay even one night. We used our points for a two night stay and just want our points back! This is a waste of our well earned points. The first room smelled so moldy we were ready to leave though tried a second room. It didn’t reek of mold so we stayed, though can’t wait to check out. That’s not the way a hotel stay ought to be. It’s incredible how the management is Clearly ok with letting this hotel be so run down and dirty! Particularly when there are two NEW hotels right down the road. One would think that would spark some desire to update and repair here to be competitive! The beds though made looked as though people were laying on both prior to us checking in, the green leather headboards are badly peeling on both beds, and both have not been cleaned in ages,the bedside table wood panel is peeling off, the bathroom floor is filthy, there are marks all over the walls. It’s pathetic! Couldn’t be more disappointed 😔
