This location is close to our neighborhood so when I need something and don’t want to go all the way to Shallotte or Southport to the big box store I run to DG. Most of the time they have what I need (I check the app before I go). I love the extra digital coupons that give the discount at the register just by putting in my phone number that’s tied to my account. What I don’t like is that 99% of the time the price on the shelf doesn’t match the price it rings up. It’s almost always more. Management needs to correct this by doing the price changes on a regular basis.

Several of employees here seem to be great which is why I won't give it one star but kind of frustrating for the store to close earlier than their advertised. I guess it's a good thing that it wasn't like an emergency item that I needed for my 9 month old baby so they can lock their doors early and get it head start on counting down their drawers. While I no longer work customer service or retail I've never worked somewhere where I was allowed to just close early cuz I wanted to go home a little bit early.

If you can't find what you're looking for here, you don't need it. Loved browsing around and, yes, ended up buying more than I came in to get - neat things! I'm glad it's close by because I'll be back.

This is a very decent Dollar General..unlike alot of them this one is not full of inventory not put on shelves and they almost always have in stock what I came to buy.so yea this is a good one👍
