They really went out of their way to help us. Friendly people and we got a good amount for our assorted mix of scrap on Saturday.

They pay $3.20 for bare bright copper. They are really nice and fair with their weight and pay.
Was 35 cents per pound last week
I wish I could help you but I have no idea
Yes, twice the price per pound as scrap, when you buy. You can ask them to keep an eye out for certain items.
Mostly copper, batteries, motors, brass and aluminum. Not computers or iron.
They take cast iron, but they will buy it as steel. You don't want to sell it there. They only give you $3 per hundred pounds. Take it to Mohawk on edgewood by 12th st, they will at least give you $5 per hundred pounds. Mohawk is the best yard for steel that is open on weekends and holidays. If it isn't the weekend or a holiday, take your material to CMC Recycling by lane and commonwealth. They pay the best on pretty much all materials. There's another place on Philips hwy called Jacksonville metal recycling that's open on weekdays and they are the next best. Union metal is pretty much always a rip off, they pay better on copper then most other places, but I swear their scales aren't accurate. They pay less then everyone on brass and pretty much everything else. Basically, if you don't have copper, don't go there. Any place would be better then union for steel or cast iron.
Many unusual finds in all types of metals for hobbies. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this scrap yard yo everyone.
How much for stainless steel
