This place is so tired looking. A good dining experience involves, not just the food, but the atmosphere. It is horrible. The fact that this place is in a strip mall is bad enough but if they had created an upscale space within it, they could be forgiven. I can't imagine the decor was ever nice here and now, in 2021, it looks like poor aesthetic taste with a lot of age. In addition to that, the place feels filthy; the vents in the ceiling are black with dirt. We ordered a cocktail - and they were well-made. But I can't recall the last time I went to a restaurant at this price point where they didn't have the big 3" ice cube when they serve a drink on the rocks. It's not 2000 anymore. A proper cocktail needs the proper glassware and the proper ice cube. Get with the times. Then came the wine (the wine list is incredibly boring - mostly, if not all, are big-brand grocery store offerings). And all from the new world. And the stemware was big and clunky - like something you'd get when you order wine at a sports bar. And now the food. Just a heavy-handed mess. Too much going on in each dish, ultimately causing a clash of flavors. We will not be going back.

Disappointing. My brother in law was excited for his birthday dinner. Unfortunately we visited jerry's on Sunday night, when evidently they are just running down inventory. Because they were out of everything!!! They had to go next door to get ginger ale. My sister went across the street to get straws. No pineapple juice for a martini. The server tried...but he was woefully unprepared. Every question we asked, he had to go ask someone in the back. We ordered an appetizer (3 times), he even stated that he gave it to the cook. After our main course arrived, he forgot to put in the order. They ended up giving us the appetizer. The servers excuse for everything was that the store closes on Monday, Tuesday, so they don't have adequate stock on Sunday. It won't matter for me...I am not interested in trying this restaurant again.

One of the best restaurants in Wilmington. Seafood is always fresh, the service is spectacular, and the portions are a good size for fine dining.
