Rooms needs some upgrades. The A/C unit been converted to wall control however it is still processed in box unit. It rattles and squeals for 10 + minutes before settling and quieting down. Bathroom tub had a slow drip in off position. Toilet screeched when flush and few minutes after filling back up.Carpets could and should be replaced throughout. Mildew or weed smell when entering from side of building. Carpet in stairwell need replacing. Pool down for maintenance and it looked like it may have been down for a while. The Breakfast was Good and staff very nice. The location was ok, not too far from road to beach, shopping and eateries very near. Rooms are over priced from Friday to Sunday, really this should have been $95/ night- being generous. At hotel would have been $255+ / night, went on third party and got for $175/ night. Place was more economical and safe compared to many around and definitely those closer to the beach. Morning of check out, housekeeping started knocking on doors a little before 9am!😡 Check out is at noon, why is housekeeping knocking on doors before parties have checked out!?! She came to our door 3 times all before 11 am..no tags available that says do not disturb. Told her the first time would be there until noon. Hotel should have list of rooms where parties have checked out already to give to housekeeping and they shouldn't start until closer to 11 with the cleaning of vacuuming as to not disturb the ones staying or sleeping in.

Super friendly staff, my room was extremely clean and smelled amazing! The food in the morning was on point and the girl who cooked it was a hoot to hang out with! Also super appreciated the fact they allowed locals and animals because I had no where to go after my lease ended while I was waiting for my second driver for the uhaul to get here to help me move. Only complaint was the pool wasn’t opened and hasn’t been since Covid first hit.

The rooms were pleasant. The common areas were not monitored since there was trash in the hallways and stairs when we arrived that was still in the same place when we left the following day. We looked at the pool, but it was an odd color and unappealing. Not my worst hotel visit, but by no means was it the best. I had requested adjoining rooms. The front desk agent said they didn't have them. From her comment, I was left to believe they didn't exist. Nope, I was on the other side of an adjoining room. So, they just couldn't be bothered to accommodate a request that was put in over 7-10 days in advance.

Positive: It was close to the things we wanted to do and the neighborhood was nice:) Was quiet and away from the main road. Negative: The shower curtain was begining to smell soured. The exterior door was not locking. The carpet was older and needed a good cleaning. Coverlet on the bed was clean but lumpy from improper cleaning/ drying we guess.
