Only reason they get one star is because you can't give a zero. I'm sure they some of the best doctors in the country, but the staff that helps is terrible. The entire system here is flawed and hasn't changed since I was in school here. Completely disgusted by the lack of empathy and cohesiveness here. I PRAY YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE HERE WHEN U ARE IN AN EMERGENCY

Bad service in general, I arrived because I had an ear infection and it hurt until I felt like it would burst, I arrived at 9 p.m. and it's 3 a.m. And I'm still waiting for the X-ray results. The waits at night are too long and they only move you from one place to another where you will wait an hour or two more for a procedure that should be faster.

Saw a heart doctor here on August 11th. For over 5 weeks and after a dozen calls, I can tell you the people running the scheduling of heart related tests are completely incompetent. Don’t pick up the phone, don’t return calls. Spoke to a person on 3 occasions explaining the same, no return calls I would have gone to get the tests done elsewhere, but doctor didn’t clearly state the test specifics and is also too busy to return calls. I hope the management will wake up, maybe this review will help at least one would be patient make a better decision and chose a different facility. You have no business running a hospital

Yes only way you don't is to go through the emergency room.
Yes ,I understand! Howard University Hospital's phone stay busy alot. However ,Contact the Faculty Practice Plan Records office there at Howard and they will help you with your results and records. If you're unable to get through to the Faculty Practice Plan Records Office then go in person to obtain your records.
I think about 11:00 am

You ask the help desk when you come in or on the phone. You need the person's full name though
You need the referral from your PCP, then you call the hospital main number and ask to speak to Radiology to set up your appointment!
Than you

There are paid parking lots in the front and back of the hospital. There is also two paid parking garages for employees to park. I buy my parking pass monthly it’s cheaper that way. There are several free off street parking spots if you can snag one.
The emergency room do walk ins but they do be crowded
