Beautiful White sand beach. Quite a sight. Pier to fish off and a nice boat launch setup.

I demand a refund there was no wifi nor was anything open nearby and the residents werent friendly in the least. If my friend faces issues getting a refund youll be facing my attorneys. This was probably the worst vacation ive ever been on they didnt even give us towels when needed.

We went for the weekend to visit with other family staying at White Lake. The room appear cleaned and the lake looked nice. Everyone seem super friendly. But I soon discovered why the beds where new I got ate alive with bedbugs. But I thought they where just in the cover cause it looked a little wore. The housekeeper came and she was amazing she cleaned up the bed and even dryed the linens so I felt a little better. Please remember 50% capacity we where limited on options and the room I got my kids seem to not have any. I gave the bottle of bed bugs I collected and thought hey maybe the manager will call but nothing. The 2nd night was un real. We got ate up so bad just in the one bed. I stay awake collecting bed bugs . I wanted to leave immediately but had not had enough sleep to drive. I got up and check out took the manager another bottle of the bed bugs and she said she was sorry but offered no compensation for the one room or anything. I had to treat all of our things before going into my home and I have over 48 bites on my body. I emailed the property and never as so much got an apologies. I paid 551.00 for 2 rooms for 2 nights. I will never return and I wouldn’t recommend room 11/12 ever. God bless who ever stays there. While I have been in property management for over 25 yrs I’m retired now. I explain to them a way to get rid of the bugs but she was super passive and I pray they treated the room. With Covid 19 who wants to be bit by any blood sucken thing. Bedbugs happen and I understand that but it would have been nice if you had offered a refund or adjustment. But nothing really bothered me. I debated leaving a review because your house keeper is GREAT and KIND and she really has a great attitude and work ethic! I pray the Lord help you get rid of the bugs because it’s not fair to customers paying that much for the type of room.

I have a camper in that campground; and no you don't have to pay to swim there, if you're staying in the hotel or in a camper. If you go to Goldston's Beach, which is right down the road, there is an entry fee ($5 per person, but kids 12 and under get in free). Goldston's Beach is like an attraction all its own. There is a beach for swimming, small amusement park and water slides, mini golf, arcade, bingo hall, motel, restaurant, and store. Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip. 😃
