I went to be a volunteer but unfortunately I didn't have all the right requirements for that. The staff are kind and the cats are really adorable, I didn't see one aggressive cat. But on the other hand the dogs hated me 😂. I used to be a volunteer when I was younger and read to the cats and dogs. But I got kicked out cause I wouldn't stop playing with them lol.

This is a great shelter i personally believe that the bunny cages could be a bit bigger

Yes you can coax them into a crate with some milk. And then take them to the shelter.
They need food, treats. Bith dog & cat. Bedding, towels, blankets. Go over and get a list. Will help.
Please call your local Animal Control office. Thank you so much!
There isn't a thrift shop at the shelter but don't know if there is one elsewhere
The last I saw they were asking for appointments for adoptions. Checking their Facebook page or calling to asked oils probably be best!
I understand not wanting them in cages. However the spca is the better option. Anyone adopting has to be vetted. The kittens will go through medical checkups and vaccinations. Mucrochiped. And trust me kittens dont stay there long ..especially cailo
Tractor Supply in Gloucester does them every other Sunday. Just go to their website & look under petvet to find the dates. They have the best prices I feel.
Each time you go, there are a different group of dogs because of adoptions. I would call them to ask. They did the last time I was there, but was a couple months ago
I don't know. I don't work there
Call them directly. I don't work for them
Usually animal control does the picking up. If you catch them you can taje rhem into GMHS. Either way they wil be okay.
GMHS has very limited space for roosters and hens but yes, we do accept them and have some now.
Hello! Thanks for inquiring about a cat! There are many cats here that need homes. The best way to see of they are good with dogs is visit us, and well cat test them on site. Good luck!-GMHS Volunteer
