Joey is the best! From email correspondence to actually taking care of my dual citizenship process, he was consistently helpful and courteous. Instructions were clear. The only downside is the scheduling process as it was truly difficult because you have to time it, and wait for any schedule to be available. I made my appointment about 3 months ago. I got a confirmation of my appointment via text with confirmation number. This same number texted me a day prior to my appointment to remind me of my dual citizenship and oath taking schedules. You have to go to 1617 Massachusetts address for dual citizenship and passport renewal. My appointment was 9:45 but I arrived early and was allowed to come in around 9:20. Once inside, you have to sign in. No need for temperature checks, but you need to wear a face mask at all times. I submitted all the required documents for the dual citizenship and passport application and the process was smooth as long as you have complete documents. I was done in about 15 minutes. My oath taking is about to happen right now, started around 1:30 pm (not 3pm). The restrooms are clean. The temperature was warm - inside the building where you take the oath of allegiance to the RP. So, you can take a manual fan for your comfort. All the staff members were polite and helpful. Kudos to the staff!

So, my passport was either not shipped or lost in the mail. The Embassy refuses to help me recover the lost passport or get a replacement. This is shameful. How do you not plan for issues like this? It's inevitable that a small percentage of passports will be lost. Your failure to plan is awful.

They never implemented the said dress code dahil may mga naka shorts naka pang gym na clothes. Sobrang magulo at walang maayos na sistema. My appointment time was 9am but they let us in around 9:15 or 9:20 and I was done around 2:30ish - 5 hours guys, 5 hours! When it was my turn to actually take my passport photo, the lady was asking me stuff and was actually taking photo at the same time... I asked her if I can retake and she said no, the picture was horrible. I'm not happy with the customer service and they need to be more strict with their rules (dress code and time)
