Horrible, I’ve placed a grievance with their corporate office, but this is not a very good place for recovery. There’s no dedication there’s no compassion there’s no organization.

This establishment is the most pathetic excuse for a recovery treatment center. There are some good staff, but the higher ups are incompetent. The doctor messed my ONE medication up several days in a row when I first arrived. Followed by one of the nurses breaching my HIPPA rights. Be prepared to have to BEG and knock on doors for days to get seen by any of the doctors, therapists and case workers. They claim it's because their case load is so high, yet the facility continues to admit new patients(when they cannot even take care of the patients who are currently in treatment) Absolutley NO covid precautions were in place until the virus had spread to upwards of 30 people, and even then they pick and choose who to quarantine. The facility is also not very clean, nor does "housekeeping" wipe anything down or sanitize. Extremely dissapointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless I truly hated them!

This treatment center was overall pretty good. I liked the food, my counselor, most of the groups, and the meetings at night were excellent. My only issue was a few of the techs just didn't care and were very dismissive. Despite that my experience was positive and I would recommend this place.

This place is kind of a mess. You’re thrown in and expected to “figure it out” by yourself. My first few days, I missed meals and cigarette breaks because I had no idea about the schedule and other than patients, no one tells you anything. Ask a question to 10 people, you’ll get 10 different answers. Some of the facilitators aren’t helpful, like at all. They don’t answer questions and they tell you to “just do it” as if it were an option to simply stop. If I knew how to “just stop” I probably wouldn’t have been there to begin with. The rooms aren’t cleaned very well either; there was someone else’s hair and toothpaste in both of my rooms. They hadn’t been dusted at all and complainants weren’t taken seriously, about anything. After a month, I returned home without any kind of plan; no counseling, no outpatient treatment… literally, NOTHING. A lot of the staff are amazing but there are about 10-15 staff members who just don’t care at all. They’re super mean, treat you as a second class citizen and do whatever they can to make life more complicated. They’re just awful to patients. Some of them treat the facility as a prison… and I’ve never been to prison. I can’t really recommend this place… only a few staff members are actually helpful and supportive. Capital Region needs A LOT OF WORK!!!!!

Hello Kathleen, We accept most health insurances including Aetna, Care First Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna, but we do not accept Maryland State Insurance at this time. We do offer a flexible payment plans to help manage the cost of care. We partner with a third party payment plan provider to provide a simple, helpful financial experience. Our goal is to provide education, transparency and payment options that make the patient cost affordable so barriers from treatment are removed. If you can give us a call at (202) 849-5619, we would be able to discuss those payment options with you or provide you with some nearby options that do accept Maryland State Insurance.
