We have always had good experiences with Lowes. Unfortunately, this time we purchased a dishwasher and the company Lowes uses for install, Mega Plumbing, was the problem. Delivery technician was mouthy, disrespectful and unaccomadating. We sent them packing. I really hate to give Lowes a negative review, but they partnered with this company.

The Columbia MD store has absolutely horrendous customer service. Ordered a dishwasher with delivery, the day of delivery nobody shows up or calls. Then spent three hours trying to get someone at Lowe's on the phone to find out where the delivery is, if they answer at all they just put you back on hold for someone else to maybe answer. Apparently the delivery person didn't show up so no deliveries went out. Shouldn't that have warranted a phone call to the people expecting deliveries?!?! Associate instructs us to just come pick it up because he doesn't know when they'll be able to reschedule the delivery. Get the dishwasher home and unloaded to find out the front is caved in and it's unusable. Called the main customer service after trying to reach out to the store, they say the store manager will be calling within 24 hours to schedule a delivery/exchange. 48 hours later, I call customer service again, they transfer me to the store where the phone rings and rings and nobody answers. The manager finally called me yesterday to set up the exchange, a full two weeks later. At this point, I'm bringing it back to the store for them to deal with and ordering from Home Depot. As "nice" as Lowe's is, they're worthless when it comes to actually needing anything to get done.
