This technician worked to solve the icing problem. He removed the door front on the freezer and seated the seal properly. He went on to install the new sensor that was creating icing in the refrigerator and freezer. He showed me how to power the unit off and on. I am very pleased with his work and helping me understand some of the features of the unit!

They just use this as a way to try to upsell you the Sears Home Warranty. They are not actual repairman. Don't use them!

Yesterday (April 27), I had a negative experience with this organization. Despite scheduling my appointment back on April 17 for yesterday (10AM-2PM) and receiving an e-mail promising the technician's arrival at my home at 11:06AM; no one visited my home. Furthermore, I received no notification that there would be any delay until 30-40 minutes after 2PM. This is after I initiated a phone call to this organization and held for 10 minutes to find out what was going on and was promised a phone call from the technician. I ended up having to postpone a 2:30PM commitment due to the uncertainty of my appointment being kept. Though I spoke to the technician and 2 people at the call center; no one was able to finalize a decision on my request to have the Diagnostic Fee waived upon rescheduling my appointment. If there are any other options besides this organization to repair your appliances; I suggest you take them and stay away from Sears Appliance Repair!
