Secluded, well appointed and beautiful, inside and out, but still close to town and the convenience store. The owner was great to work with. Do bring your own linen and towels, but in this day and age, I actually prefer that! This is a wonderful get away and close to plenty of fishing. We saw plenty of birds and several deer. Overall great place to stay. We did not lack a thing! Thank you!

Me and my girlfriend were trying to find a cabin for my birthday. First off the owner is a good guy. He got us in his cabin on short notice. Let's just say me and my girlfriend had an spiritual experience and want to come back again for a longer period of time. I love the location of this cabin. No street lights in the county! It's truly an escape from the fake city life. I would live here if I could. Chuck i will be calling you to come out again soon. We even had wildlife come right up to the cabin it was amazing. It also happens to be right on the edge of a great clean park and a couple lakes not to mention the Des Moines river. I hope this place stays a hidden gem as that's what it is. I had to dig deep on the internet to even find this cabin in the first place and I feel like it was meant to be. Very spiritual experience. Thanks again Chuck!
