If you are planning to schedule a criminal background check with them you should call again some time afterwards to make sure they didn't mess it up. My appointment somehow disappeared and there was no way to verify that it was scheduled since they don't track anything. You just have to trust their words that something was done. The only redeemable aspect in this exchange was that they weren't rude.

I was arrest at school a couple weeks ago for having a pocket knife and my school was just gonna let me go home and deal with it the next day because I walk home and it was the end of the day but the officer at my school Decided to arrest me last second and “ teach me a lesson” now he was soft on me like left my cuffs and when we got to the station and had to do the finger print and mug shots he was very easy going but he took his job way to fair So I’m my experience they have nice staff but the staff take there job way to fair

Trooper KIM is an amazing officer. My son was missing for 4 days and I was frustrated by the situation, trooper KIM was calm, polite and direct. He found my son in a 2 hour span. Needs to be commended for his outstanding service . Thank you Trooper KIM.

24/7, 365 days a year. It's a police station, if they close we're kind of screwed.
They still open for appointments only
Getting a hold of a trooper is almost nearly impossible. I have been trying to reach a specific trooper by phone for over 45 days now. left several voice messages and no reply. Unfortunately, the only way to get a hold of someone at this police station is to either commit a crime or go to their station in person.
There are no judges at Delaware State Police troops. If you are surrendering yourself report to the Superior Court for your county unless a trooper has instructed you otherwise. All other proceedings requiring a judge can be scheduled with the appropriate process with any civil court of competent jurisdiction.
No walk ins are accepted for fingerprinting at troop 2. If you need fingerprints taken today you must go to the SBI at 655 S Bay Rd, Dover, DE 19901.
They must bring governmentally issued photo ID. If it is for state checks only they must pay $52. Federal checks with state cost a total of $65 but the federal background check must be required by law to get it scheduled. Payments are cash, credit, debit certified checks, money orders, and company checks. No personal checks or AMEX. All checks/orders paid to Delaware State Police. To make an appointment call 302-739-2528. To do this without an appointment visit the State Bureau of Identification at 655 South Bay Road suite 1B in Dover. For people who are not residents of Delaware the FD-258 FBI fingerprinting card must be completed with their local law enforcement and accompanied with a letter authorizing DSP to investigate their background.
$52 for State check, $65 for a federal background check.
No. Troop 2 only does fingerprinting by appointment and usually has a long backlog. You need to go to the State Bureau of Identification in Dover if you can't wait for an appointment.
