Outstanding! The pizzas and stromboli are amazing! If you're a cheese lover, they will not let you down. Their house made ranch was great. The rest of my family enjoy the steak, salmon, burger, and pork. They were busy on Friday evening at the prime time (6pm) and were not answering the phone to place a take out order, so my husband and I drove over (staying in Rumbling Bald resort), we ordered at the bar and had to wait a little over an hour for 2 pizzas...but it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Be patient, it's a busy place on a beautiful lake!

I had two meals here and had decent service. The Friday fish fry was a bit of a let down. I did enjoy the chicken pasta and chicken bowl. The wings and loaded chips were good. The cocktails were enjoyable.

While I would love to be able to review the food, I cannot. Staying at the resort over the weekend, we tried twice to eat here, but were denied both times. The first time, they would not take a phone order, and the second time, they would not take a walk-in order. Maybe if you walk in and want to physically eat there, they will agree to serve you? 🤷‍♂️

Just because you have a good view does not mean you can expect an incredible meal, but let me tell you, Legends on the Lake, does NOT disappoint! The food here is phenomenal, the hot wings are incredible and cooked to perfection. The pretzels were delicious and soft, the chili was a sweet chili and absolutely delightful. I had the Caesar salad with yummy salmon and the dressings are all made in house. To top it all off, Kathy our servers was absolutely FANTASTIC. I am writing this review as I sit here anticipating my dessert, I ordered the upside down pineapple 🍍 cake! I'm sure it's going to be scrumptious.
