As close to the real thing as you’ll probably get! Food was good and the service top notch. I took a star off for affordability. Very pricey for what it is but you pay for the atmosphere. Prost!

Absolutely fantastic! The only restaurant that I've seen since my time in Germany that I've seen Nürnburger bratwurst at. I opted for the lemon schnitzel however because I could buy some of the bratwurst from the deli case to take home. It was soooo good. The service was great, such a cute little place.

On vacation in Asheville and went for a hike - needed a place for lunch and we found this gem!! So glad we tried it as all the food was delicious and just the home made meal we needed after a morning hiking. We tried the schnitzel, german fried potatoes & the cucumber salad - all were amazing. The staff was very friendly; restrooms and restaurant were clean. They have german beer and some german chocolate. Their fresh cakes in the window look amazing! Will be coming back to try some dessert. Come try this restaurant - you will get a home made meal and won't be disappointed!

What an incredible find! Looks like just a quaint bakery from the front but it is a full German restaurant with all kinds of sausage, schnitzel, and mouth watering German sides like sauerkraut, red cabbage, and my favorite: German potato salad. The interior is very warm and welcoming with heavy wooden furniture, wall alcoves with geraniums, festive pennants and paintings of the German countryside. Tiramisu was on point. Staff is super friendly including our waitress Patty, hostess Renée and owner Sharon!! A must-stop while in Black Mountain.

Yes we definitely take reservations. Call the restaurant at (828) 669 - 5255.
Yes we offer our full menu all day.
Yes, we have 2 small tables outside at entrance. Both tables seat 2 people.
They make them.
They have people spaced out, were cleaning really feverishly, and all staff are wearing masks. They ask you to only remove the mask while eating or drinking.
