In almost 5 years of full-timing, this is easily one of our favorite places. The owners are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are settled. They are on well water but it was perfectly fine. They are also on septic so no flushing of black tanks - no big deal. We had a level site with clean power - all hookups were very conveniently located. And these guys get it - when you aren't full, don't pack everyone in right next to one another. Earlier this year we stayed in a 100+ site campground in this area, and with only 5 people staying, we were all in a row. This place, with less than 15 sites, is courteous enough to leave an empty site between RVs when possible. THANK YOU FOR THAT!!! No bathhouse + no pool + no playground + no kids = QUIET!! Conveniently located close enough to Springfield and Peoria but in the middle of open fields. A+, 5/5 stars/ top rating for this, one of our all-time favorite campgrounds!!

Brothers are awesome hosts. Very helpful. Campground is very clean. Wrigley the campground greeter is a wonderfully friendly dog. So happy we found this CG and hopefully we can stay here next year on our way north.

The brothers were so nice and accommodating. We arrived late and they were right there to guide us in the dark. Their communication was great. Located amongst some farmland. We will definitely stop by again when we come home o. Route 66.
