After booking randomly on OpenTable for a family trip to Asheville, we had such a personal and unforgettable experience. I cannot speak highly enough of our server, Mike, and Ralph, one of the owners. I was worried about being on the patio on a cold night but it is basically inside and there’s a massive “rotisserie” heater. We all have vastly different food preferences but we’re all super satisfied and I had the best scallops of my life. I literally just got back to the hotel from the restaurant but we’re all so excited about and thankful for our experience, how beautiful the restaurant was, how much time they spent with us that I have to write this now. Book a table at Avenue M!

I love Curate. I love Ukiah. Now, there's Avenue M. This place has joined my pantheon of the best places to eat in Asheville. The staff: amazing The food: amazing The ambiance: this is the Asheville vibe of going out to dinner I love. nice, but not pretentious. warm, not stuffy. Our waiter was so incredibly patient and everything he recommended was stellar. The guy working the door was great and kept coming over to check on the dog we had with us and was just a delight. The sommelier even came out to walk us through the wine by the glass options. We ordered: the relish board: 5/5 the catfish: 5/5 the peanut sauce on the catfish: 6/5 the half chicken: 5/5 the potatoes beneath the chicken: 6/5 the filled pasta: 6/5 the wine: 6/5 the margarita: 5/5 For three people this was plenty of food, we practically rolled out of the building. Protip: If you're worried about hanging on the patio during inclement weather, don't be. The "patio" is fully enclosed, warm, and cozy. Alright that's enough talk, go look at the photos.

This place seems a little confused right now. Let me start by saying the server, hostesses, and Tony were all great and friendly. The food however was unexpectedly not. Avenue M has always been a place we would go for upscale dining. It had nice flavor and portions at an affordable price. We dined here tonight and didn’t experience any of what we used to (the last time we had been here was late 2019). The menu is small and all over the place. The burgers come in diner style baskets while the pasta we ordered came on nice plates. The menu is vast, but seems all over the place. The portions were very small. The Tortellinis pictured cost $22 for 7 pieces. The Raviolis here cost $20, which both are fine if they came with a salad like I was expecting with those prices (and given that is how it has always been), but they didn’t. At least the Tortellinis look appetizing. The Ravioli plate had a congealed sauce from sitting out too long and needed some type of garnish. Tony came out and brought by a much better pasta after we sent the Tortellinis back. Maybe I missed the announcement of this place changing the type of food they serve, but it’s not a place you go for upscale food anymore. The scallops, beef medallion, lobster, etc days are gone.

I got the 1/2 chicken it was amazing. My wife got the homemade pasta dish that was amazing. Even the desert with the sorbet peanut butter. Great service and awesome atmosphere. Not a five star . Parking is a nightmare.

Very Much! We have a large patio that's perfect for our four legged guest!
I think you will be glad to have made a reservation, it's a small cozy venue that fill quickly.

You should call the restaurant instead of asking a question on Google places. This is a place to ask questions to people that have visited a location. The restaurant does not use this as a reservation system.
