Terrible service. It started out good although we should have known by how dead it was. I ordered a party melt without cheese. What was served was a disgrace. A thin raw patty. Yes, raw meat. Served on dry untoasted bread, with raw diced onions and raw jalapenos. Maybe the cook thought they were being funny. We ran out of drinks and my kid waited for ranch until we were leaving. We finally asked another server to get our server. When I told her I needed her to remove the raw meat from my ticket. She said, "what was wrong with it?" I showed her the raw meat as we asked for refills on our longtime empty drinks. We were not getting service but could see that she was sitting and being on her phone. She never checked on us. When we asked for the refills and corrected check her attitude was clear. She didn't want to deal with us... I hate giving a lower tip but sometimes you earn it...

We have stopped here before while traveling and had a decent experience so we decided to try it again. We arrived just before 7:30am and were told that it could be a long wait as there was only one employee trying to do everything. We were on a schedule, so we left and went to the ihop at Johnson City.

It's IHop. The hostess was surly & terrible, but our server was a treat. Actually, we were helped by several different people. One lady took our order, another brought the food, still another checked our drinks & finally the original server brought the check. The hostess snarled at us again at the cashier stand, but it was because the servers were handling cash transactions themselves. We were not aware of that because the sign explaining that was on the host stand, under some menus. My crepes were fine, Mom's waffle was stone cold. They microwaved it back to serving temperature, so you can imagine the texture. The butter was in the exact same spot, so we know she wasn't given a fresh waffle. Bacon was a little too floppy for my taste. Will probably return to IHop at some point, just not this particular location. For instance, the Pigeon Forge location could serve as an example of how to properly provide food & service.

Went in around 10 Am on Sunday. My family and I were seated and proceeded to watch 2 tables that were sat AFTER WE ORDERED, be served and finish b4 we even received our food. Finally got up and left. Since then I have had other friends tell me similar stories about this particular location.
