We have eaten at this little park three times now. It is a highlight of our trips to Weaverville. There are a couple picnic shelters but; there is an uncovered picnic table at the top of a knoll where my wife and I like to sit a d look over the lake while we eat. There is a nice play area for children. You can also take a stroll around the park lake. It is very pleasant. Oh, the ducks and geese could be a bit of a hassle but they didn't come around this day until we were done eating.Sorry, I didn't take a picture of the lake.

Wonderful park. There's a great playground, a workout area with outdoor equipment, picnic tables in several areas, a lake, a little river with a water fall and nice walking paths around the little lake. (The only down side is selfish people that have to have two picnic tables to themselves, even when nobody is occupying one. Folks we can do better)
