My friends and I camped there a couple weeks ago. We were deep in the woods, many feet away from civilization experiencing mother nature first hand. The dangers of the untamed forest surrounded us, wild noises and creatures were all around, we were one with our surroundings. Dan ran out of Doritos so he ate a squirrel for diner on Saturday, he "Bare Grilled" that little guy, we are now afraid of Dan.

Big trees, beautiful walks by the creek, clean campsites and toilets/showers. Close to Hackettstown and other towns.

Last I heard, all NJ park campgrounds are still closed
I believe it was done by The Boy Scouts.
#33 camper is a big one, you can call and they can help you. Beautiful place!
1. Smoking I don't know... 2. No Alcohol in any state park...
It's against the law to swim in the river in Stephens State Park and is posted as such all throughout.
A bus probably will not make the right turn across the bridge into the park. Not sure on weight limits but that shouldnt be a problem. Im curious why a bus? I mean whats at stevens thats atracting a large group? Wedding? Beautiful idea
There is no swimming at Stevens State Park you are not permitted to swim or Wade in the river. Do not bring flotation devices you will be issued summonses
Yes. . They must be on a leash. Also there are pet friendly campsites and Stevens State Park you need to have shot records on hand for the animal if you're bringing it camping
