Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Mya/Mia (sorry if I don't know how to spell it!) was our table attendant and she was great. When I first arrived with my husband, she was very helpful with explaining the pricing. $9.99 for the paint-it-yourself session for 1 adult plus however much your ceramic piece costs - my frog was $22 plus tax. $33.33 total and I added a tip for the staff. With that price, you get to choose 5 colors in your palette for your artwork. I'm a multimedia artist for fun and I know these art supplies aren't typically that pricey (if you do this at home), but their upcharge for the ceramic pieces (that probably cost $0.50-$5 in bulk) is understandable to cover their overhead (i.e. utilites, rental space, staffing, etc.) and having to glaze then bake your piece properly (which I couldn't do on my own!). Sidenote: The colors on the sample plate that they show you are NOT the same color as the paint they offer because the sample plate is showing post-glaze/post-bake colorations. The paint colors will look more pastel / lighter than the sample plate. Don't worry, supposedly it turns out okay. Also the 5-color paint palette refills are free / included with your session fee, so if you run out of paint, just ask politely for a refill. A stress-free process ✨️ 2nd Sidenote: Do not expect to take home your creation on the same visit. The staff will inform you that it takes 5 to 7 days for the baking process. Considering they are always busy at this shop, the wait time is probably since they so many pieces to bake. If you live out-of-state, I would ask if they have shipping options. 3rd Sidenote: It took me about 1 hr 47 minutes to paint my frog. If you plan to do this, it's best to set aside a good 2 hours to have a relaxing paint session. Also, be aware that you will be surrounded by other adults, teens, and kids painting about 5-6 feet away from you so you'd need to be comfy with a busy social atmosphere. I will post an update with photos of the baked ceramic frog (around August 6th) after we pick it up!
