The people that work in the park specifically in the pool area like to mocking minorities such as Hispanics. Lifeguards and food vendors are very rude when talking to Hispanics.

It’s a beautiful park, try not to go on the weekend.. too crowded in summer time.

It's very close to the city and feels like a city pool(Red Hook but without the prison rules). It's an acre but half of it is closed off. Concession stand only takes cash. It's really hot today and the crowd is overwhelming. Would I choose to drive 1.5 hours from Brooklyn again, probably not. Too bad the 30 million spent on renovation didn't include fund for a full life guard staff. Open up the other half of the pool!

There are bbq pits but they are a far walking distance from the pool. The fee for the pool is 3$.
