Great place for recovery if you're actually ready to come to terms that you are an addict and want to stop and get clean and sober. No one can force you to. You have to want to stop and realize it is a dead end road not to mention that you are just throwing your life away and missing out on so great things in life.

It’s okay for just receiving your medicine but it is a bit disorganized I think they need to get these people off the methadone and onto another medicated therapy like Suboxone. It seems like a legal pill mill come get your medicine and just receive the illusion of sobriety! Methadone will still get you high, I wouldn’t have been so concerned if it wasn’t for the fact that they asked me more then once if I wanted to switch to methadone? What is the incentive here? I remember what being on methadone was like, it’s almost as if you become a cloud, just floating along in a daze. You really don’t feel much of anything and yeah it can be good but long term it is unsustainable way to live!! It was insane I was there for suboxone therapy but they think they are helping us by getting us the medicine right away. As addicts we need to get used to life without the quick fixes so I really feel they are defeating the purpose here. Just promoting the mentality that it is better to just dose us and pay less in that moment rather then waiting to get your medicine filled at pharmacy and learning that the quick and easy route isn’t the best!! These souls are so doped up that don’t know any better, they need real recovery not bandaids! Thank you

I have been here the past 3 years. I am down dosing from 160mgs. to now 25mgs. I transferred from River Region the most ghetto and hatefulest places in Jacksonville. It wasn't the staff as much of fellow recoveries. At North Florida the atmosphere is more conducive to a mature crowd. Verses the constant backstabbing, lying and malicious eight faced people I left at River Region; it's night and day at North Florida.

Ive been going here for about a month and 14$ a day x2 ( my boyfriend and I) is adding up quick daily, so I was hoping they do so it can atleast subside from atleast one cost out of pocket. I tried calling but they close at 9, so I'll find out tomorrow when I go in unless someone on here is able to answer the question. Thanks for your help, girl!

They cut you to 4mgs at emerson clinic no ua methadone is a much more dangerous drug where they cant just cut your dose to 30mgs they can only drop you 10 mg every 3 days and probaly ua to make sure that they arent letting you shoot herion or take xanax with 150 mgs of methadone

They start the same day you do the paper work and see the their doctor, I'm pretty sure the only day they do that is on Monday's. They start dosing at 5am and its very fast ,most of time im there about 4 or 5 minutes. It was the best decision I ever made I've been there since May and now I get to take home a week so I only have to go 5 days a week and then within the next 30 days I'll get another take-home it feels pretty quick and see what else can I tell you you need to make sure that your system is dirty unfortunately you can't be clean and go so that's how it works and then after you get in there you don't want to ever have anything in your system except for Doan's or they give you the evening either get don't or the strips whatever that stuff called but I hope my information can help you the place is really helped me I have been I was in a bad car wreck and I have been on things since 2001 a pretty long time.
