Office staff is unprofessional, unorganized, and extremely condescending. I’ve heard great things about Dr. Bullaro, but it’s just not worth being talked down to a tossed aside by her office staff.

Great Doctor with a lot of experience and knows how to stand up for her patients in the hospital. Unfortunately, she’s also too opinionated about the number of kids a person should have. I was dropped as a patient by her NP after she humiliated me for being pregnant “again.” The NP was so unprofessional questioning me over an over if it was a mistake or intentional to be pregnant again. They told me I was too high risk- not the case as we saw after the first “high risk ultra sound” was preformed per Dr. Bullaro’s office’s recommendation. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy and another successful uneventful delivery, using a different- non high risk- OBGYN. I understand their caution but now two years later, I am still cringing at the memory of having been bullied at an OB office for having chosen to get pregnant again. My kids are a gift and I’m here to raise them, a doctor’s office should not be in the business of shaming women for knowing their boundaries and fulfilling their desires!

The hours are so stressful- their online office hours don't reflect their constant forgetfulness to open their call line, sometimes I can't get through until 30-45 minutes after they are supposed to be open. They have an hour and a half lunch where they don't take calls- I'm all for work life balance but could there be an option to leave messages? Maybe one person stays on the phone and they take shifts? For the very limited hours they are open (and their shortened Fridays), it is frustrating when there is only about 6 hours of actual time to connect with someone, long hold times, and it is especially difficult as someone who works and I don't have unlimited flexibility to call outside of lunch or right at opening. One particular office member was so appallingly careless that if I wasn't so upset from just being told that the 10 weeks I was supposed to be ended at 6 weeks, I would have spoken up. The helpful nurses told me that the front desk knew the situation and would help me set up a follow up ultrasound to confirm the loss, and not only did I have to tell the happy front desk worker that I was having a miscarriage because I guess she wasn't really told, but after she was HUMMING A SONG and making jokes while scheduling my ultrasound. I understand miscarriage is something that they probably deal with on a daily basis. But to those of us experiencing it, it is world shattering. A bit of understanding and, at the bare minimum, not humming a song while scheduling an appointment for a woman trying her best not to break into tears, would be ideal. There were other situations with this particular person as well, and I'm just shocked she can stay employed or not have an ounce of empathy for others. I don't expect a pity parade, I just expect my appointment to be scheduled, no jokes, and that's it. Overall, the staff are kind, when you have the chance to connect with them. I'm experiencing a potential second miscarriage and getting hcg levels tested to be able to confirm if I can be hopeful or not. They told me they would call to discuss my results today (a Friday) and at 12:30 I realized not only am I not getting a call, but I was already too late to call them back. Now I have to wait a whole weekend to determine if my baby still has a chance or if I should prepare for another loss. I'm frustrated that no one called me today when they had assured they would. I would recommend looking for other providers. This office is fine once you get in and connect with someone, but unless you don't have traditional working hours it might be impossible to connect with the office staff to get in.

Do not seek care here, unless you like to be passed around, belittled and told that your symptoms/needs are of no concern because you’re hormonal and pregnant. This place has the absolute worst office staff, and you’ll never actually see the Dr. or get a hold of her. I cannot believe I am waiting until now, 8.5 months into my pregnancy to say something. Upon walking in, the front office never greets you. When you call, you’re always put on hold. And when you need paperwork completed, you have to keep calling and calling to make sure it gets done. I waited weeks for FMLA paperwork to be completed, after telling them I had a deadline. I also had to go to the ER because they couldn’t get me scheduled when I had symptoms that we’re concerning. Anyway, today’s visit and phone call is what really irked me and has me now looking for another provider to deliver my child. I asked to speak to the Dr. because for the two minutes I was able to catch her on her way in, during my last visit, we had a discussion about going on medical leave early, she said she had no problem speaking to my employer and approving the leave. When I called to go over the details of the paperwork, I was told I couldn’t speak to the Dr. and me speaking to her was just not going to happen. I got passed around to numerous office staff before the office manager finally came on and accused me of insurance fraud. I got so upset at this point and instead of listening to my concerns, and the reasons why I feel I need to be put on leave, a benefit I have through my employer, and has nothing to do with my insurance company, she continued to tell me that being uncomfortable is just a pregnancy thing and that I was upset because I’m hormonal, not because of the way I was being talked to/treated… I am filing a claim through my insurance to audit this business because being charged as if I have seen the Dr. is what real insurance fraud is.
