I’m 26 weeks pregnant and every time I have to come in for any type of an appointment there has been an issue, causing me to rage at how badly front office treats patients and even the doctor. First appointment I was told to wait till I was 2 months pregnant mind yourself I had no idea how far along I was as I have irregular periods. I Showed up and couldn’t be seen because first they needed a positive pregnant test for insurance to even cover anything prenatal. So I had to schedule another appointment for baby when I could have done positive pregnancy test when I originally called knowing I was pregnant. Then I had the anatomy ultrasound scheduled my appointment was cancelled no notice nothing because a midwife requested medical records to review it to see if I was a good candidate to do a home delivery. This is when I lost it and told them how unprofessional it was for them to just assume I was no longer a patient and not even bother to call patient and just cancel my appointment and not just any but the baby anatomy ultrasound! Then I just now showed up for a regular check. Mind yourself I called yesterday to maybe move it to a later time then 11:30am and they said they could not. I showed up at 11:34am all the way from work in the phoenix area and was told my appointment was at 11:30 the doctor left to get Covid test I can come back at 2pm 🤯 Again no call, no notice, just wait till patient gets to office to tell them the changes their office does last minute. After the first time I have left almost in tears of pure anger. I will no longer make myself go through these terrible experiences especially being pregnant, with kids struggling to arrange a babysitter as I have two kids and they don’t allow them. Dr Huffs wife also has cancer and he is out of the office a lot which I get. I went to three appointments for follow and only was checked for baby heart beat how I was doing and test results would be reviewed with Dr Huff. I didn’t see him again until a few months later. So if you want to see same doctor not random people that just fill in for him and want to be updated with what’s going on every visit, go somewhere else. Glad I have a midwife I see as well to continue care for baby. This has been such a mind blown experience at how bad a practice can be.

The world needs more doctors like Terry Huff - saying that he’s good at what he does is an understatement. I don’t live near Mesa anymore but it is worth the 45 minute drive. He includes me in the decision making process and explains things carefully which helps me make the right choices when it comes to my body and medical care. Dr. Huff treats me with respect and he has never once turned me away without offering some kind of solution or plan. Even when the office is slammed he makes sure that I understand his recommendations and that my questions have been answered. He reminds me that I’m entitled to a second opinion and that his suggestions are my choice. He is the only doctor who has not questioned my ability to decide whether or not I really want a tubal ligation. He talks to me like I’m a human being and not just another client, and that means a lot. Highly recommend.

Dr Huffman is such a compassionate altruistic Doctor. I have been unemployed for a while and he has found ways to help me out saving costs. The staff is amazing too! Never had issues with them and they actually passed my message very fast. Thank you for the great service

Dr buff has been my obgyn for almost 10 years now. He is the greatest. He’s upfront, straight to the point and he’s amazing at what he does. I love all the nurses, front desk ladies.
