Amazing organization helping families in need. One of the best to donate too! I was also able to coordinate a group service project. Great opportunity to give back to the community.

Amazing! My donations were accepted and the employees or Volunteers were SO thankful and appreciative. They took care with everything and it was not just thrown into a rolling cart. My new goto donation spot.

Usually here in a work capacity. Nice staff.

I really like working with this organization. We helped with a weeding project and a Group Food Drive. It's nice to be able to help other families in our community. 🙂

Yes they do! They take clothing for all ages!
Everything House of Refuge collects through donations either goes directly to the residents or, because space and storage is limited, are passed on to other non-profits who can use them (depending on currently inventory of items for residents).
Yes they will definitely take all of those items
Yes you can the donation center has a sign you will see when you get there and the garage door is usually open for you to walk in
They do!
Yes, anything baby, kids, womens... even some men's stuff since teen boys are there

Yes. If you go to the website houseofrefuge.org you can schedule a pick up there
I Do flooring through red mountain carpet and tile out there at house a refuge and any donation helps these women. They get grants to go to college and learn how to do applications to apply for new jobs so makeup will help just as much as anything. Its also not just women it's homeless families male or female.
Hi Michael, thank you for thinking of us. We do take gently used love seats or chairs, end tables and lamps. The entertainment center (depending on size) and sofa might be too big for our small houses. We are 1000 sq.ft with 4-5 people living in them. We do offer a vet-owned pick-up service called ReSupply. You will find them on our website houseofrefuge.org under donate. However, please understand they are a business and are not free pick up. Thank you once again!
They do accept furniture. If you need pickup they have an option. https://houseofrefuge.org/donation-center/
Hi Paulina, thank you for reaching out. We are not accepting furniture at this time. Please feel free to reach out to Sunshine Acres in Mesa.
Yes, we sure can. Thank you Helen!
Sure Susan! Thank you for thinking of House of Refuge. We appreciate you!

Thanks for your question, Armida. It varies - we typically have a 3 month waiting list. Depending on when people moved in and how long they need to stay here, we will sometimes have more openings in any given month.
Yes, you can! Opened till 5pm we ask that you come no later that 445. Thank you, we will have staff and volunteer awaiting your arrival to help you unload.
Great question! House of Refuge does not operate a thrift store. Food, clothing, household items, etc. donated to House of Refuge are given to House of Refuge residents free of charge.
We've donated kids stuffed animals here in the past.

Clothing is checked for good condition then put out for the people at the house.

As donation? If so yes they take most household items/ decorative items as donation.
