Andre House also provides clothing, laundry services, and locker rental; all on limited basis, of course. With the number of homeless people constantly increasing these days, it's impossible to meet everyone's needs everyday. But they are engaged in a good work, and do the best they can with the limited resources they have.
There's dinner every night except Friday showers clothing closet and people who will help get you an apartment food stamps ect check it out
Hmm.. you refuse the shelter available to you paid for by the Tax Payers of Maricopa County! EXCELLENT! Go pay for a hotel! If you were seriously in need you'd be grateful for any help.
Get a $10 a month membership@ the Planet Fitness gym. You can shower long long time there g.i.
You can also check with CASS which is across from Andre house. They will either be able to provide needed items or referrals. UMOM (Google it) will be a good resource as well
I think so
Yes and as much as you can give them. Canned, dried or fresh is all good.
Yes for the clothing, not sure about the toys.
You can donate to Andre house any day of the week just please check their website for times
Closed on Sat & Sun the other days of the week they begin feeding dinner at 5:30 pm But you'll want to get in line earlier than that. They most often close the doors at 6:30 pm. On the weekends various Ministries & Organizations distribute food beginning at 6:30 am or later until the early afternoon hours. But this is not Andre House itself. They are closed on the weekends
I believe so? What is that you need I am a volunteer there.
Go to Cass you can stay there for 3 months and while you're there go to CBI and they will get you Housing.
They do not house on campus
St. Vincent de Paul gives clothes, and I think only weekdays. They also give bikes.
Yes. DeAndre house has been supporting homeless for over 50 years and I've seen over 1.3 million volunteers. Any type of volunteering regardless of age gender etc is it good thing. Plus it is a great learning experience for anyone who wants to challenge life because seeing what you see there will touch your heart doesn't matter who you are I volunteered when I was younger and under house and then years down the road I became homeless I'm hoping to get back to that stage where I am volunteer also. Sorry about that trip down memory lane my mind is one tracked so I do believe that the other house would do good with having members of the national Honor society volunteer.
Ok
No there's no beds
And bye the way. You should have the homeless people Andre House, CASS and St Jude feed and shower for FREE clean up all the Trash along the street there.
