Worst company of any kind I've ever worked with. You can talk to the friendly customer service staff (level 1) and overworked supports coordinators until you're blue in the face, but they have no power to do anything to help you, and if they say the wrong thing, they'll get fired (more than one employee expressed this fear to me). You'll never be allowed to speak to anyone above lower-management (level 2)—no one with any actual decision-making power. Bottom line: no one you're allowed to speak with can do anything for you (unless you need something ridiculously simple, like something you can probably do on the website on your own). In fact, right now I'm on hold with KF CHC because the customer service person herself can't even find *the name* of anyone in a particular department so she can ask if they can help me with one of my many current problems with the company. This is typical non-transparency at Keystone First. It's like most of the company is hiding from customers, sheltering in place or something. Here's an example of how unethical, inhumane, and clueless about health problems the company is. They decided that my brother—who has a serious seizure disorder and is a severe fall risk and has the history of broken bones and other injuries to prove it—only needs 7.5 hours of care per day!! What if he has a seizure and falls during the other 16.5 hours?!? (Which he will, almost guaranteed.) I can tell you one thing: Keystone First CHC doesn't care AT ALL. They probably have a nice bank account full of cash to settle wrongful deaths caused by their incompetent and inhuman decision-making. Here's another example of how clueless, unhelpful, and unprofessional they are. Keystone First rejected my application to be my brother's Personal Representative because, they said, his signature on his Durable Healthcare Power of Attorney paperwork did not match his printed name. First, whose signature DOES match their printed name?!? Second, the document was witnessed by my attorney and another witness (then notarized on the premises), which verifies the authenticity of the document and the subject's signature. In fact( legally, my intellectually impaired brother could have written an X or drawn a picture or a turtle, and it still would have been a legal document. But Keystone First rejected it, making it harder for me to navigate the healthcare system (including Keystone First itself) on my brother's behalf. There's no excuse for that. And no legal grounds for the rejection. KF CHC deliberately makes you jump through hoops, and then capriciously decides whether, if you jump through every one, they'll give you necessary services. So far, I've jumped through the hoops without success. I'm looking to change CHC providers, looking into Geisinger, Health Partners, and United HealthCare's Community Plan. Keystone First is garbage. Pennsylvania should cancel Keystone First's contract to provide Medicaid services and launch an investigation into its unethical, abusive, inhumane, and probably illegal practices. Let's say the 1 star is for all the "little people" at Keystone First, who were kind and tried their best. Otherwise, 0 stars would be more accurate.

Avoid this insurance company like the plague. They will take your money but will give you every excuse in the book why they can't pay for your prescriptions or any other services needed. You call them up and and they tell you the problems are taking care of to only get there and find out nothing is taken care of. Call back spend spend another hour on the phone to be told there's nothing they can do and give you another bunch of bunch of excuses.. If I had the means to go anywhere else I would. Worst insurance company ever

Even month when it’s time for my medicine to be refilled, ya all the only people that are giving me a hard time I told ya multiple times that I am pregnant and I need my medicine and ya instead keep phone hopping me back and forth with pharmacy and membership services and I ask to speak to a supervisor and ya keep doing the same thing and it’s annoying I’m so over it and I’ll completely remove myself off keystone first community health choices ya are the freaking worst don’t get no stars get a zero then ya claim I have another insurance that i clearly don’t have the only people that sees it and not Walmart pharmacy nor all my other doctors I feel like ya getting lazy and ya want to give people a hard time every single day I’m so upset with this company, they ya refuse to pay for hospitals and now I’m in debts with them bills I am not satisfied with this company at all beyond over it the worst

I am right there with you. It's a lot of work trying to find doctors who take this insurance most of my doctors I found from just googling and calling around and get better doctors then what's on the database. Though keystone first is a dying insurance, almost every doctor is cutting of this insurance because is hell for doctors due to all the paperwork they have to do per visit and ever more so when requesting a procedure or imaging, and lastly they don't get reimbursed well at all like 5% of the total cost maybe a little more but still horrible. it not worth it for doctors to take this insurance, and even if you do see a doctor and you have something wrong with you and need surgery most doctors will just tell you they cant help you, bc its not financially or time support of them. mess up I know. hopefully this helps.
Contact your county assistance office and listen for the prompt for the change center and let them know you want to change insurance companies.
No age limit it's medicaid. Based on need not age. You can have it in combination with medicare as well depending on your income

Find the providers on keystone first website and search for the dentists that accept your insurance. Hope that helps
There is a dentist in the Mongomery Mall. I tried it once, It was not bad. When I went in July they was low staffed.
It depends on the situation..the job may not cover the things they need with they insurance..

Have the new doctor give you a HIPAA release information form to sign and fax it over to the old doctor with the request. If i was you i would call and make them aware that you have sign and fax a HIPAA release info form for your childs records to be fax to the new doctor.
