Horrible company to deal with. Loyalty and paying on time means nothing to them. Be cautious. The city of Sarasota needs a dedicated FPL Force how is it that we are the last to get electric restored in the entire County horrible company

I have been trying to pay my bill for 10 days and I keep going in circles. They are always experiencing a "high call volume" and I have yet to speak to an actual person. I cant pay online because the website says my account does not exist, even though my information was verified using the automatic phone service. I just received a final notice to pay or my power will be shut off. If I could, I would not give them my business.

First, to be effective, you must verify that your grounding system is 25 ohms or less. If not your surge suppressor or lightning arrestor will have no place to dump the energy. Not many electricians have the equipment to measure earth resistance. A FLUKE 1630-2 clamp-on earth resistance tester costs over $2,000.
There are several places to pay your bill. Google it.
Is FPL sending any resources/trucks to the Carolinas to assist in the wake of hurrican Florence and helping to restore power there?

They're already sent some up there and might send more.
Power is out in Nokomis for four hours so far and expected to be out another 2 1/2 hours???!! Venice has their power. Seems to me that FPL always leaves Nokomis LAST! Why does the power go out so easily? No maintenance, no tree trimming perhaps?
