I have found the staff here to be extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful—polar opposites of some of the employees at the county’s S Church St recycling center near Tiger Hill. They are only open 3 days a week, as posted, but open earlier in the week (730am) than the S Church Center. I am more than willing to make the trek into town, as opposed to going to the one on S Church (also only open 3 days a week, at inconvenient hours/wrong hours posted on gate).

Attempted to call four different times in the morning when they say they are open. No one has answered a call. There's no voicemail or hours of operation listed on the call. There's not even an option to choose from to verify materials accepted at this location or verify the hours. This is ridiculous. People shouldn't have to drive from S Church St to the landfill. It's not a convenience center if you cannot get a hold of anyone or have to drive all the way across town when you work until 4:00 PM M-F.

✅The employee's I've talked to here are nice and helpful. ✅The area has always been clean when I've been in to drop stuff off. ❌The hours are ridiculous: closed more days than open and only open until 3p.m. on those 3 days. This should be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 5p.m., then until 5p.m. on two additional days. Whoever agreed to the current hours is very inconsiderate.

I stopped there this morning for the first time. Both gentlemen that were there were very polite. I asked a few questions they didn't mind answering my questions. The place was clean. As I was leaving both gentlemen told me to have a good day and for me it's the little things like being polite that goes a long way.
