I like it's convenient location, if you time your trips appropriately it works out for disposal, recycling needs just fine. Also The on site donation trailer has really saved me a lot of time and running around for items still in good condition but no longer needed around the house.

Even if you come with ONLY recyclables, you are still required to wait in the long line for people with bagged trash until you can pass through to the recycle bins. Such a ridiculous system. No wonder the lines are out to the street. Also, pretty terrible way to encourage people to recycle.

Not sure why the dudes who work at this place are so consistently terrible to others. If you make a mistake, even if the signage isn’t clear to someone not well-versed in recycling theory and practice, they immediately shout and yell at you, and approach you aggressively. I always forget to take video of these experiences just so someone at the county level would believe it’s real. Today I put a plastic container in the big green dumpster thing labeled “plastic 1-7”…and apparently I don’t understand something about recycling and numbers, but instead of explaining the thing and having a nice educational conversation, the guy with gray hair and beard yelled/shouted and berated me. He literally approached me and stood in front of my car so I couldn’t go forward. He literally impeded my motion. This is problematic on many levels, not the least of which is that this kind of behavior is universally considered to be aggressive and confrontational. This isn’t an isolated incident. It’s always something to yell and berate over. I get that they can’t be expected to be rocket scientists, but when working on a taxpayer-funded initiative, basic courtesy dictates that they should simply avoid being aggressive you-know-whats. That’s a great way for someone to get hurt around these parts. He’s lucky I’m a relatively peaceful person.

They have metal bins for appliances. Bring em in.
If you go on the website it will tell you everything you can and cannot put in the dumpster :)

No. You Must have a Rutherford County license plate. Or maybe out of country plates if you have a local drivers license, but your vehicle license plate is the standard
Yes. Just put it on the bin where they throw appliances
Not leaves or trees, but anything else has to fit in large bins. They will take almost anything if they have the room. Sunday is trash only.
Urs
Don't know for sure
No.
They have large bins there for that available Monday thru Saturday
Your trailer can’t be over 10 feet. They do limit items that isn’t kitchen trash and they only take kitchen trash on weekends I believe.
Open
No charge as long as Rutherford county resident, if you just moved take a bill or something to prove it. Yes mainly house hold trash some bulk items except on Sunday.
Yes they accept all them items there open at 7:30am to 3:30pm on Saturday ask a worker that's there because they have a different dump bend for those items.
No
I don't think so. But you can take it to any AutoZone, advanced Auto, or O'Riley for free
Yes they have been for plastic bottles and they're open every day except Mondays and Thursdays
The paper recycling dumpster says 'newspaper only' on it. There is a salvation army truck but there may be better places to donate the books?
What day can bring mattress in ,I know Monday, and Thursday closed, and not on Sundays what other day
Yes, in the bulk bins to the right, site is closed Monday and Thursday, and bulk bins not available on Sundays
It is just their 2 days a week off, open on Saturday and Sunday. Has been that way for years
Household trash and recyclables on Sundays
No. Closed every Thursday and Monday of the year. Hours of operation are Tues 930-5pm Weds 930-5pm Fri 930-5pm Sat 730-3pm Sun 730-3pm(No bulk items. Bagged kitchen trash only)
No closed on Monday and Thursday and all major holidays
I've never seen them check plates, you could bring a bill with your address on it. They take household trash in bag at drive thru disposal and have big bins for recycling, metal, furniture, etc. Can't take metal, large items on Sundays.
Yes, metal bins and large item dumpsters are open Saturday.
I'm a driver for Rutherford county and yes you can put that's in the metal recycling dumpster everyday were open as long as it's metal
The one the center attendant tells you to but we're closed today
Yes
Yes, on wood, but not on Sundays. Their website has good info . http://solidwaste.rutherfordcountytn.gov
I believe so if they have room. Sunday is the only day limited to trash only.
Sometimes and it depends on the room for they have that day.
No,they only take household trash like things that would normally go in a kitchen’s garbage can on Sundays and nothing else s. You have to go on other days for anything else. There are signs all over the place that confirm this. And they are strict about it.
Yes we are
The only thing they will accept is the paint. It has to be filled with kitty litter or oil dry. The county does a semi monthly hazardous waste collection at the Haley road convenience center in murfreesboro for the other stuff. I work for the solid waste department so if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
An if there's metal in it it would go in the metal bin. An if it's all wood they won't take it on Sun.
No. TV's have 2 B..taken 2..1140 Haley Rd.
What's ur Question about Weakly lane.??
All recyclable materials including metal are accepted on Sunday. Household bagged trash is also accepted. No large bulk items are accepted on Sundays. I'm employed with the solid waste department if you have any further questions. Thank you and have a great day.
I work at weakly rd. Ran by the Best Employees in the Co. Every other..
No.
Like Stan said, they're all pretty old so it's best to bring help. From the few times I've been there, usually once or twice a month, they're just there to direct you to where each item goes and to make sure you're not dumping something you're not supposed to.
No
I just saw a mattress in the big dumpsters next to the fence.. be sure to ask which dumpster they want you to put it in.
