A bunch of licences are required to just enjoy this area. The paths aren't clear and you will die here if you do not have a weapon because there are a lot of wild animals here bewareπŸ’€.

MUST have to access this area. Land pass, hunting or fishing license. Police are checking so be prepared. The waterfall is pretty easy to find if you're familiar outdoors.

No clear path once you start walking down the gravel road. Not sure if we walked the correct path but came out at the top of the waterfall and it was too steep for us to go down to the bottom to get the full view.

Quite a challenge to get to. I love exploring and taking pictures of waterfalls and this is the closest to where I live, so I thought that I would go. The first time I went was last week and the road the GPS said to turn down off 53 was closed and it was getting late, so I came back today. When I got there it was still closed and a couple were just coming back. They said that they didn't make it to the falls. I looked on my GPS and saw it was about 1.6 miles past the gate, but had noticed another road that was still blocked, but looked like a shorter walk, so I went back to it... it is "dove field" , right across from Dawson Forest WMA" apparently the road is only open during dove season and then only for hunters. I parked and walked down that road to a grass parking area, then went to the right. Followed the road then it went to the left. Continued down then at the next intersection went to the left. Continued till the road ended then just tried to follow my GPS. Walk till you get to a very small stream, then follow it down. Like Ronda said, I crossed the stream a couple times to try to find the best route. It was just a bit further than the GPS said. No trail, and sometimes a bit of a challange. I was in shorts and hiking boots. Jeans would have been better and maybe also some water shoes. Definitely not for a casual walk. I think my total hike back and forth was about 7000 steps... about 3.5 miles. Got some good photos, but doubt I'll go back.
