Checked out adventure science center today. Great place for young kids. Maybe for teens, but not mine. They were kind of bored. The sensory room is really well done though. I felt like I benefitted from it. Very calming for any one that has used one before. The price was a bit high for my liking but it was good to try it out at least once. We spent about an hour there. I probably won't go back though if I am being honest. Nothing against the place but we had seen most of it pretty quickly.

This fantastic museum, a great interactive science experience that is perfect for bringing your kids but is absolutely still fun for adults as well. We miss-read and thought they closed at 4pm so upon showing up at about 2:25pm, they were still nice enough to let us in and do a quick exploration which was still a decent amount of time to quickly see everything but I'm sure with a bit more time you could properly see everything and interact with all of the exhibits in there. There's a whole section of interactive exhibits that teaches about the human body and a large indoor playground. Additionally, every day at 3pm on the dot they create a small explosion in the front of the building using liquid nitrogen and water!

Worth the drive! We drive up from Huntsville and easily spent 5 hours here exploring and playing. This place will entertain and teach kids of all ages.... While their favorite moment was definitely the tall play area that had a beautiful birds eye view of the city, they loved all the hands on interactive science portions as well. We were thankful for the Subway restaurant inside the museum for a nice lunch break, and for sensory overwhelm we found the planetarium/solar side of the museum to be more quiet and restful in comparison to the loud body system wing and all the play areas.

Great place to visit with the grandchildren. I recommend the day to see almost all exhibits. Then return and examine a couple of sections I. Depth so the children can learn the full extent of the wealth of information and knowledge. We found it is not just for children but we learned a lot of new things we never understood. Great for homeschoolers.

They have an annual pass for $109 includes 2 adults and 4 kids under 18.
What are the themes currently (April and so forth) for 2022?
$15.95 for 13 years and older.
Ive been without kids and it wasn't weird!
Definitely made for kids, but adults interested in science will enjoy it as well. My fiance and I had a great time and we saw lots of other grown ups (some without kids) doing the same.
It was 18 per adult I'm not sure on the kids I know it's cheaper I want to say 11. The prices online is wrong is says like 25 or something for adults but it's actually 18. And if you go definitely do the planetarium! It's the best part and is worth every penny!
Yup. Only non accessable area I can think of is the upper playground spire.
You can pay at the door.
$15.95 for adults and $12.00 for kids
Subway restaurant with the best view of the city any restaurant has I think. Nothing else without driving a few blocks
Yes. People have birthday parties and have to go in and out getting stuff out of their cars for the parties, and reloading the car afterwards. Also, it's an all day pass. So you can come and go if you want.
I believe so, but to be safe check the website!
No
I am not sure about tellis museum membership but they do accept my "Deluxe" membership to my local children's museum.
They have some at Adventure Science Museum fir less than $20.
Hey! You can purchase there!
It is open, however, there are a few things inside the exhibit that are closed/inoperable due to repairs. If you're referring to the 'heart' section of the play tower, it is NOT open. The rest of the tower, including the 3rd floor are open, however. Have fun!!
I'd have to agree with the other answers, I visited a few weeks ago and had a pretty fun time even as a high school student, the sound/music area is pretty fun but the planetarium show was definitely the star of the day.
If your museum is part of the ASTC passport program and 90 miles away, you should be able to.
Yes, definitely. The under 5 area is awesome.
Any time after what is on your ticket
I paid on line 2 adults and 2 kids one of the kids is over 16 = $18 adults. $14 for under 16
As you like but it's not required
Do you know what events are not available? Thank you!
I haven't seen a traffic jam in that area since March.
I would suggest avoiding busy times as it can get crazy with lots of excited kids running around. But from a sensory perspective I think a 1yr old would enjoy it.

Hi! Not sure what your question means. Try asking again!
On the bottom floor of the jungle gym there's a playground area perfect for a 1 1/2 year old if all the tactile exhibits on the upper floors aren't entertaining as well. Toy trains and tangrams and the like.
I think they do. Right outside the entrance to the younger kids play area if i remember right.
Free for under 2 years old 😀
The admission tickets will get you when whenever they open to explore.
Its called the adventure science center now and There is a Subway restaurant inside.
It is worth visiting as an adult if you are a kid at heart. I take my niece and do everything she does. They also have virtual reality and a lot of other fun things.
Everything seems to be extra. We really enjoyed it but it did seem to be pricey
During the week before 10am you get a discount with little ones.
After you pay admission, your party will receive bracelets that permit access to the museum for the day. The simulator and planetarium are not included in admission.
My 3 year old and 6 year old LoVED it. Some areas are for younger and some are great for up to 12ish
About three hours. That will allow you time to catch a planetarium show (the space and astronomy presentations are the best ones - check the schedule). That should still allow plenty of time to experience the rest of the museum. It's very hands-on. The Adventure Tower is kind of an indoor playground and you may have to go in after your kids to remind them that there is more to see and do at the museum!
There are ramps and handi-accessable areas throughout. I didnt see any stroller or cart rentals when I visited.
0-2 is toddler (free admission) 2-12 is child 13+ is adult
Paul gave a good response. We did that when we were there last week.
We paid about $15 per person. The prices differ according to age and what you want to do. They have 3 floor.
Yes
Not sure...
