Cowford county campground is well managed and maintained. Janie does a great job and is very attentive to the needs of campers staying there. While there is not much in the immediate area for recreation it is centrally located to many attractions for day tripping, not far from Nashville, muscle shoals, Huntsville, and other locations. Most campers stay here for work and relocation to the area. No RIF RAF to worry about and it is clean.

We have stayed there for a couple of months in the fall and it is a fantastic campground. It is small but the people there are so friendly we felt as though we had stayed there many many times. Janey is in charge of the campground and she is amazing and one of the hardest working women I have ever seen.If she is not on her lawnmower she is on the tractor or weed eating or with a blower in her hand. She goes out of her way to help everyone out to make sure that their stay is a pleasure. While we were camping there was a Birthday party for Wade (Janey's helper) that we were invited to that was awesome with lots of food and the party would have until a storm came up. We were also invited to a fish fry by Celesta and the fish was the best I had in a long time. Thank you Celesta A Freeman and Wade Bivens yall are awesome fish fryers. It's hard to get a spot there but well worth the wait. Thank you Janey Bailey, Wade and the rest of the campers there for a great stay! !

Place is absolutely gorgeous and staff is probably one of the most caring and nicest people we have met on the road. Very quite and beautiful atmosphere!
