I lived here for almost two years. Many problems ensued. The garage door gate was broken more often than not. At one point someone hit a structural beam and it took months to replace (which effectively roped off parking areas on more than one floor) which added to the already problematic parking situation. I've had many packages lost (some refunded, others replaced, and a couple that I'm just SOL). At some point during my stay, a neighbor moved in that played music so loudly that it shook the floors and furniture in my unit. Many calls were made, the situation never fully resolved. The noise from dogs is not controlled at all, and neither is their bodily functions. Random piles of joy were often in the elevator and hallways. Many lovely neighbors just left their trash everywhere, some even used my empty trash bin left outside from trash pickup day. Many bags left right next to the shoot, too, which just shows you the attitude of your lovely neighbors. The wine fridge was almost never working, every time we asked about it, they told us the part that needed was on backorder and they would let me know when it came in (which never happened, eventually after the 3rd or 4th work item, they came to replace the part). They also almost never answer their phone which is frustrating. Nonetheless, I liked the unit and the location. Upon moving out, they were completely unwilling to negotiate the $3,000 early lease termination fee or the 60-day notice. Buyer beware.

Kudos to the maintenance crew at the Crest…in this case Jose. I submitted a request to have a light replaced outside my apartment on August 8 and was replaced within 24 hours. Although the crew is shorthanded (from my point of view), they still continue to impress me. Keep the great work Gentlemen!

We loved living here. Crest has the best staff in the world, Ida and Lacy were very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. The maintenance guys were always very professional and were very quick to respond to requests. The location of the place is excellent, it has a DART station nearby, as well as restaurants, cafe and ice cream shop; the walks around Lake Carolyn are excellent.
