Recently renovated visitors center offers good if compact exhibits describing the park geology as well as local settler history. Small auditorium for film presentations. Surprisingly well-stocked gift center. Rest rooms with running water and water bottle filling station. Note, the nearby farmhouse selling pies also has many hand made gifts for sale. Outside the visitor center are posted the weekly weather report , wildlife warnings, and trail/toad closings. In the park you will have 0% cell coverage, so the visitor center should be a daily check for weather or other conditions affecting your excursions.

Another great stop on our amazing national parks tour. It was hot! Not quite as scenic as some of our other stops. Saw petroglyphs which were pretty cool.

Magnificent mountain landscapes, jaw dropping geology. Other highline included Grand Wash! Roads a little bumpy but a must see unless the road is closed.Last but not least the Petroglyphs are pretty cool!

This is the most underrated park. There’s so much to do in this national park but for some reasons it’s not as much explored. There’s a hike between the canyons when you do the tanks. The Hickman bridge and Casidy Arch are such good hikes. The scenic drive is so worth it. The visitors center has free wifi too. There are some petroglyphs in the wall too and very old school that you could see. There’s a ranch and Gifford Home museum which was amusing inside the park. The park has so much to offer. It’s not leas than Zion.

If you have the receipt they will probably help you. Call and ask

Are current road conditions good for Burr Trail to Notom Road into Capitol Reef?
