UPDATE: THEY TOOK MY DEPOSIT AnD NEVER fIXED THE MICROWAVE BEFORE I LEFT. MICROWADE DOOR STILL BROKEN.......Thank God my lease is over, and i am not spending $1800 on mold. It was nice and clean when we moved in, then MANAGEMENT happened. They dont care about anything. Stairs are dirty, a kid spilled some Hot chocolate in October, and mind you this is February 2022 and its still not cleaned. Forget about parking lot when you come home after 7pm

When I first signed my agreement, there was some confusion/miscommunication regarding the price but after speaking with Miranda, we got everything squared away, and we're able to move forward successfully. I'm getting a newly renovated unit with an attached garage. Thank you Miranda, and the team at Centreport Lake! You all have been pleasant to work with. I will post a follow up review after I move in.

(Long review but please read). We gave this apartment the benefit of the doubt despite the bad reviews, but since we've been here, it's been the most stressful experience ever. DO NOT LIVE HERE. These are issues that we've been facing since moving in around late February 2022: Initial move in: - Our apartment was not clean or ready when given move in date. Had to wait until late afternoon. (Only carpet was vacuumed but kitchen was not swept. Found dust and trash in laundry & closet room near front door). -Was not given valet trash bin until almost 2-3 weeks later -Lingering smoke smell in entire apartment -Yellow gunk similar to ear wax on door knobs and light fixture -Corners/borders of carpets are still stained dark brown -Living room blinds were broken, and still haven't been fixed -Huge crack in bathtub that was not addressed. During stay & up until now: -Maintenance request for smoke/fire alarm battery replacement was never addressed. We ended up changing the battery ourselves. -Company website was down for a while -Broken glass and trash always outside -Pools were not cleaned whenever I tried to use it once in late June -Hallways still dirty, even after they were "cleaned" -Apartment fire alarm went off 3 times in one single weekend even after the fire department addressed it. -MOLD PROBLEM (pictures included)--> Started appearing late July in kitchen pantry and put in initial maintenance requests. Called on 8/5/22 due to no update or response and was informed maintenance was behind on changing AC units in other apartments. Maintenance checked on 8/19/22, and shared an AC pipe was broken above bathroom and discovered more mold. Maintenance inspected crack in tub, shared that was causing the mold in pantry, and needed to have outside company resurface tub in order to address/stop mold. Maintenance was supposed to submit additional request to front office after that. Come 9/6/22, I visit front office due to no follow up on previous maintenance guy, and was informed by staff that the additional request was never submitted. That staff member put in the request, and informed us that we would have to wait AGAIN. 9/8/22, maintenance visits again and this guy was given misinformation on where the mold was coming from or what to look for. Front office then gave us a liability form to have Mars Resurfacing come and resurface our bathtub. It was scheduled for 9/16/22.. Come back from vacation on 9/18/22 to find out they did not show up. 9/19/22, noticed mold growing into our clothing closet now... Currently waiting on front office to call me back with information on why they never showed up. Will continue to update.. We literally cannot wait to move out in December.

I am counting the days until our lease is up here. We’ve experienced countless issues, from the door being completely cracked to the point of it not being lockable when we first moved in, to rent checks being lost, to countless maintenance requests taking weeks to be fulfilled (gotten to the point where we’ve just stopped making them altogether). This doesn’t even include the numerous issues around the property that have still gone unaddressed (poor lighting, broken gates, broken/outdated gym equipment, etc..). To come home after the holiday weekend to an eviction notice over $88.08 in unpaid rent has only enraged me as a renter who has always paid dues. I cannot stand this place and would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about leasing/renewing their lease to consider other options.
