Beautiful park to go and sit at the waterfront. Have a lot of seating and swings to enjoy the views. Horse drawn carriage ride I think was $29/person for about 50-55 minutes. Did not do it due to time.

On a road trip from Charleston to Savannah stopped in this charming town. A nice downtown Main St. with shops and restaurants and a beautiful waterfront park for walking and plenty of spaces to sit with a cup of coffee and look at the views.

A huge kudos to both the town and whoever designed this park, which is one of the nicest I've ever seen. Absolutely beautiful and well worth a stroll if you're in town for dining or shopping. The "swing benches" are genius and so inviting on a beautiful day. Felt like we were on a movie set or something.

A very nice place to walk anytime of day. The views are breathtaking, the restaurants and shops are great. There was a band playing and they were great! Great place to come and relax and bring the kids to the play area and get ice cream! Highly enjoyable!

Unfortunately the City has not embraced the concept of a splash pad.... But Mayor Stephen Murray will listen to any requests!
Not really, go and start something, take your kids and march around with a flag.
There are a couple of tables and chairs by the playground not enough for a large group or picnic. Call the City of Beaufort to reserve the facility.

I know that the shower's are only for the marina residents and guests but you can ask the Office & ships store, the next building across from the shower there in charge of the marina area.
Maybe they mean on the water. It is waterfront. It is a nice little park where you can sit in the nice swings that face the water and mellow out.
