My stars don't match up for a reason. Location and room itself were good. A/C did NOT work well, and I was sweating at night. It was VERY warm that day, to be fair, but if there is a/c, I expect it to work properly, especially for what I paid. It did not do the job. I won't say don't stay here, because all else was solid. But if you are passing through in the summer and need a/c, call to ensure it actually works, i.e., gets cold!

This is my reply to the owners response to an earlier review. They did suggest I stay in another hotel however, my experience with Days Inn has been satisfactory in several past stays in various location never Panguitch. Their son did help with two heavy suitcases we needed to take up a somewhat difficult stairway and clearly we did hand him a good tip which he said he would not take. In their response they claim this was a newly remodeled room which is far from the truth. I suspect the new wood type tile floor could be the limit to their remodeling because the bathroom clearly was not acceptable in any respect. The door was also badly worn and would not close properly. After the issue with the toilet leaking water all night and we had used towels and the sheets from the bed to soak up as much water as possible the desk clerk possibly a relative suggested the owner would call me when he arrived after we had left. He did not call and I called again the next day only to be told he would call on Thursday which he did not. Wyndham also refused to address my complaint and I wrote this review thinking someone would respond and after reading the response from the hotel I called again. I spoke with absolutely no success the the owner's wife who only suggested I had done something wrong by writing this truthful review. Now I had hoped to post a couple of photos of the true nature of the massive water leak about which they must have known because the angle stop valve to the toilet was clearly damaged by someone in the past and it leaked badly all night.

Panguitch is a really small town that doesn't have many lodging options, but this Days Inn was perfect to stay at! I stayed in a spacious suite room that had a king bed and a separate room with a desk. It had a microwave and fridge in the room. There is free breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean with plenty of towels. The hotel is also in the process of updating its rooms - I didn't stay in a renovated room and have zero complaints, but I'm excited to stay at one in the future! Bryce Canyon NP is 25 minutes away and Red Canyon is even closer (a must-see). Zion is a little under 2 hours as well as St. George. Cedar City is about an hour away. This is a great spot to be in to have access to a lot of beautiful outdoors spots.

Absolutely terrible management. We had gotten 2 rooms but 1 of the bathrooms were unable to be used because of BLACK MOLD in the ceiling tiles. We went to the management and asked why they put us in that room when the majority of the motel was EMPTY. The aggressive Indian family that owns the motel decided to start yelling and causing a scene. The police were called and the owner as asked to show security footage because he accused us of yelling at him for a small mistake. Owner then becomes scared and the sheriff demanded video footage by the next business day otherwise legal action would pursue. Do not come to this motel. Owners are extremely disrespectful and will try to call cops at a moments notice at any second. Do not give these people your time, money, or business. Pathetic owners and very unprofessional. The other hotels in Panguitch are MILES BETTER.
