I recommend Boomer Benefits to anyone who will listen. I have been so pleased with every interaction with their well trained, helpful, friendly agents. Recently Jasleen Salgado helped me locate and switch to a Medicare supplement plan that has benefits to cover my membership at my favorite health club. Today she called to follow up and let me know when to expect my new plan to begin. Thanks so much!!

I always get good service and useful answers and assistance from Boomer Benefits. Chasaty was most helpful getting me a duplicate card.

Amy Bolling has been great. She is knowledgeable and very friendly. I couldn't have asked for better. She answers all questions and concerns readily. I didn't feel like she's just trying to "make a sale" but really cares. So glad I found these guys! :-) Best wishes to you all, regardless of your decisions.

I just finished signing up for a Medigap plan using Amy Bolling at Boomer Benefits. She was very helpful, explained everything in an understandable way, and did not try selling me other products. Was a pleasure to work with.

Questions & Answers

I have dual citizenship and have medical coverage in the UK and am still working, do i need to sign up for Medicare B now to avoid additional charge or s it covered under consistant coverage clause?

Gale Lockwood | Oct 5, 2021

Hi Gale, Since you are still a US citizen, you will need to enroll in Medicare to avoid late enrollment penalties. Although you have coverage in the UK, that is likely not considered creditable coverage for Medicare. We recommend enrolling in Medicare during your Initial Enrollment Period to avoid any late enrollment penalties. Your IEP begins 3 months before your 65th birthday and ends 3 months after. However, because we don't deal with Part A and Part B enrollment/penalties, we suggest contacting a Social Security office to confirm this information. From our understanding, foreign health coverage doesn't help you avoid the late enrollment penalty for Medicare. https://boomerbenefits.com/new-to-medicare/apply-for-medicare/

I wanted to say that Justin Karsch made this Medicare drama so easy. He walked us through every step. He is excellent.

It depends on what you can afford out of pocket. Supplemental coverage mitigates or eliminates your copays and deductibles.

Need help, how long is the statues of limitation for an incorrectly bill hospital bill? Had routine mammogram ordered by my pcp in 2020. Prior to my enrollment to Medicare. They will not correct their mistake and I do not think I owe them anything

Miriam Mohr | Aug 6, 2022

Unfortunately, since this was prior to Medicare, we don't know the exact rules regarding a hospital's billing process with your previous insurance. If your hospital will not correct the billing issue, we recommend filing a complaint.  If you are a Boomer Benefits client, give us a call at 817-249-8600 and we can see if there is anything we can do!

Hi Gwen – First, thank you so much for coming to write a review. Second, though Google does not permit more than one review, we are taking your kind feedback back to Brandon. He’s a great part of our team and we are so glad you had a great experience with him!
