Loved it! … beautiful scenery and we enjoyed swimming in the Tippecanoe River.

The place was highly priced for tent camping. Owners were inconsistent with pricing. It’s family owned it seems as one family member quotes a certain amount while the other quotes a different price. Not worth it for the campground. While camping I don’t expect high end bathrooms but these were very dirty, sink didn’t have running water and there was no soap or hand sanitizer. Definitely wouldn’t stay again, for the price we could of gotten a way better campground.

I stayed here for almost 2 months in primitive and was very upset to leave very easy access to the river and great fishing from shore or on a kayak. It is a great environment and the staff is fantastic. I will definitely be going back

We booked two nights I spoke with the owner who was very nice at least four times before we arrived and was never told that the water at the sites should not be drunk due to high nitrates until we had arrived. Firewood was 25.00 a wheel barrow unfortunately it was all wet and would not light. The site itself was very pretty however the bathrooms were pretty gross with the sink being outside and no soap provided to wash hands. The playground is a joke unless u have toddlers nothing for older children. Quiet hours are another joke. Fireworks and people screaming until almost 4am. We only stayed one night even though we booked two. I would not recommend this place to anyone else and definitely will not be returning.

Expensive? Easy access to sites without backing in? Pets?

Most likely you'll have to back in but there is plenty of room to maneuver. No its not too expensive. Pets are allowed if leashed and cleaned up after. No one likes a yapping dog though... easy access to the Tippecanoe river for fun is the best thing.
