It started out good for the money we paid for the annual spot but turned horrible after new management Barry came in charge of the campground. He is one of the rudest managers I have ever dealt with. The campground had continued to go down hill in repairs including bathrooms leaking and unkept , laundry room never having any washer or dryers that worked, and pool closed down all summer. All important to visitors but especially full timers like ourselves. We now have left the facility and Barry hasn’t called us back about how to cancel our annual site as well have another camper take over the rest of our yearly lease which is over $2000. We have called the office and the front desk receptionist doesn’t know anything and always refers back to Barry who never calls us back or speaks to us. We had originally ourselves paid the remainder of another person annual site who left when we moved in. We now have been told they don’t do that. Too bad. You lose all that money and we can’t rent our spot out ourselves. Called corporate the person told us we needed to pay our membership up to today or we can’t cancel our annual site. Asked to cancel our annual site and she stated the individual campground would need too. Put us on hold and then hung up. We both work in the RV industry . We will never recommend this campground to any of our customers and advise them to not us thousand trails. Absolutely ridiculous.

Okay... here is a review to contradict all the previous naysayers. We're TT members. Is it the best or fanciest campground, no... but its not horrible either. Get a grip folks, it's a campground, not the Four Seasons!! We use our camper to shower in, so we can't judge those. My hubby said the toilets were fine though. So, the pool was closed... you have beautiful beaches approx 45 minutes away folks!! Go enjoy!! We've spent our time seeing all the great sites & cities close by like Beaufort, Savannah, Hilton Head & Charleston. Not much for kid's here? How about taking a walk, playing a board game or watching a movie with your kid's as a family? The folks in the office were friendly to us, it's a little wet lately probably for them to mow or like everywhere else they can't find people willing to work! Also, the washers & dryers look like new. Okay, that's my two cents. Thanks for a perfectly fine stay!

Don’t bother wasting your time…. If you need a place to stay the night, by all means… but this place is terrible… by far the worst thousand trails we have been too… they just need to shut it down…. There is no maintenance at this facility. 90 percent of the washer and dryers are out of order, the pool is closed down, the campsites flood when there is a little afternoon thunderstorm, there is TV cable wrapped around tries, cable going through your camp site…. It’s bad… the bathrooms are not kept up. Every toilet is clogged…. I surprised thousand trails accepts this kind of sun par performance…. We ended up checking out a day early because it was so bad…

The sites are tight and uncomfortable. The sites are all dirt or stone and dirt. The roads are single lane, however, the sites are pull through. The pool time ends at 7pm which seems early. The laundry room closes at 7pm which is early. I work from my RV. I get off work at 4pm so I don't have much time to get things together. Overall, my first impressions of this campground are not very good.
