Shipped my cars from CA to TX and had several damages in one of my cars, this is carrier’s liability. Filed a claim and Progressive Cargo told me the process can take up to two weeks. Past two weeks, no call backs, no replies in my emails and talked to the (rude) supervisor. Today she told me the process can take up to three (3), yes 3 months (!!!) for investigation ! Is this waiting time legal ?

They do estimates, take cars in for repair (with Enterprise on-site for Progressive claims), settle total-loss paperwork and settle bodily injury claims related to accidents. There are property damage adjusters and appraisers located here. Insurance is sold online, on the phone and through independent agents.
